I'm not sure that is completely accurate. Surely Parsons would lead the mighty Gators to a title. And I'm sure the one-two punch of Travis Leslie and Howard Thompkins would be too much for the Sullingers, Jajuan Johnson's and Lucas's of the world to handle.

Also, I would be interested in hearing who you think will be the 5 worst teams in major conferences. I'm going with: Auburn, Iowa, Oregon, Depaul, Rutgers

Auburn has less talent than LSU did last season. Iowa State is as bad as the five you list. Oklahoma and Providence are also going to be lousy.

Its crazy how far OU has fallen since the departure of Warren and Griffen x 2. Utterly amazing...

I do think LSU will be worse, but their record may not reflect that as they only have a couple OOC games worth noting. They did bring in some good young talent, but not elite talent like UM. They also lost their only good player from last year in Tasmin Mitchell. UM returns some contributers from last year to pair with their frosh, something LSU cannot say. If UM is as good as thier fans and the pundits believe, they should beat LSU by 20pts with the end of the bench seeing the court with about 4 minutes to play. If not, that would be a sign of UM not playing to thier potential(using the NTNL pundits assumption of their potential for analysis). I, personally think UM is still a year away from making any national waves.

Are they really that bad? It's hard to imagine a BCS team worse than the '09-'10 LSU Tigers.

He was on campus, but was he really there? He has been the most over-hyped bust I've seen of late. Makes Hopson look like an All-American. The kid has talent, but he has no one around him to get involved and even though he has a manchild frame, he doesn't seem to know how to utilize it to his advantage. That kid runs in to more charges than about anyone I can remember. Control is not a part of his game

As a coach who played against OU last year told me this summer, "Anyone who thinks Jeff Capel can coach needs to check out Willie Warren's development."

That coach is spot on. Capel walked into a great situation with a ton of momentum and has absolutely failed at an epic level

Im not sold on Capel either but that program was not left in good shape. it had a few good players but Sampson left it pretty screwed a few years ago.
