I would much rather have her as VP, just not sure I would rather have McCain as POTUS though, not sure there is much difference in McCain and what we have now. And she is smoking.

I like her and I like a lot of what she did or tried to do as governor in Alaska. I lost a little respect for her when she quit her governorship. I don't think I would vote for her as President because backing our country away from the precipice of big socialized government is going to take backbone and standing in the face of conflict, but I like some of her ideas.

I like Palin too. I was among the first people here mentioning her name before McCain chose her for the VP nomination.

Her most endearing quality is her ability to piss off liberals. I look forward to the day when I'm as hated by the leftards in this country.

She does get under their skin, it is fun to watch. But I am so tired of seeing her bashed non stop.

AP couldn't spot a photo-shopped image of burning buildings in Gaza (or maybe the West Bank), I trust their fact-checking about as much as I'd trust Joe Biden giving financial advice.

I love how her supporters publicly proclaim it is sexist and minimizes her intellect when that photo is shown, but then all of these guys on a message board where their identities are hidden go on to talk about her hotness.

I love that her supporters complain that no one seems to take her seriously when she is constantly if not subtly marketed as a political sex kitten.

Whole thing is a friggin joke.

She did not pose for Newsweek. She posed for this picture for a running magazine.
Newsweek bought the photo to make fun of her.
But, don't let the facts get the way of your preaching there,Skippy.

The picture was taken after she had been on a run, she did not pose for this to be put on the cover of Newsweek. People can say a woman is hot without being sexist with their remarks. Being sexist is people like you who call her dumb and stupid because she is a conservative woman.

She posed the pic for Runner's World magazine.

My bad, sorry you are right. I was listening to her explain this and I thought she said it was taken after a run, but I just looked into this more and she did say she what you said. Thanks for correcting me.

First, arguing that she did not pose for Newsweek is hardly the point. Look at the photo. She is posing and showing off her figure.

Second, she packages her sexuality quite a bit, and any denial of that is insipid.

I don't care that she is a woman. I preferred Hillary Clinton to Barack Obama. I care that she's an idiot, however, yes.
