The two new Republican Governors try to explain ....

First, arguing that she did not pose for Newsweek is hardly the point. Look at the photo. She is posing and showing off her figure.

Second, she packages her sexuality quite a bit, and any denial of that is insipid.

I don't care that she is a woman. I preferred Hillary Clinton to Barack Obama. I care that she's an idiot, however, yes.

How in the hell else would one pose for a running magazine? She is sexy is she supposed to cover that up? Don't be mad she is attractive and your girls Pelosi and Hillary are ugly as sin.

You hate her because she is a conservative woman. If she is such an idiot why do you pay her so much attention? You are obsessed with her.

LG have you ever seen Runner's World Magazine? Every woman on it poses like that.

No, I don't want her to cover up. I just don't want her to be POTUS.

My interest in her is that I think she represents one half of the war currently going on in the Republican party.

A certain segment of the party is focused almost entirely on fiscal and national security issues, which I think are a) absolutely the issues that really do matter; and b) are the areas where Republicans stand their best chance at making headway in coming elections.

But there is a dangerous nutjob wing to the party that is getting all of the press and attention right now and are drowning out the more moderate thinkers and leaders. Palin is both their idol and, frankly, rather a caricature of the looney right at the moment and it fascinates me to see the Republican party struggle between level-headed policy makers and clowns like Palin, Beck, and Hannity.

I'm sure this would have been more appropriate in your mind?

The party blue bloods are what is costing the R elections. They are losing because they have got away from their conservative values. The dems are communist and the R are democrats. I am a conservative who votes R mainly because that is the lesser of the 2 evils, I don't want anymore "moderates". There is little difference between McCain and Hussein.

You have little credibility calling anyone looney or clowns with what you currently have in the White House

your mistake is assuming that she represents these lost conservative values. maybe for 5% of the party. but no where near 50%.

I saw a poll the other day that had her neck and neck with Romney and someone else (Huckabee or Pawlentey, if I remember), all at 20 %, amongst Republicans for '12 primary.

She's the one out front touting the conservative social agenda, consequently she's getting the media coverage and both the criticism and the attagirl's.

judge the level of the threat by the severity of the attack.

the left fears Sarah Palin. Either that, or LG knows that Palin is out of his league and he's lashing out while at the same time engaging in some quality time with his right hand and the aforementioned Runners' World magazine.

she has name recognition. that is all. kermit the frog could get 20% of the vote in a poll like that.

actually i think it's the opposite. the left is terrified obama's socialist agenda is going to get him voted out of office and desperately want someone like palin to run against him because they know only an idiot like palin could lose such an election. therefore they are doing anything possible to keep her relavant and in the forefront.

Give her a break. She was probably too busy admiring Russia from her house or hanging out with her neighbor you know JOE 6 Pack. She is hot though. I love a woman that can pull off glasses.

Or.. trying to figure out where those other 7 states are.

he's got big plans for america. He figures since all the people that used to live in mexico are in america. so we should just take over mexico and chop it up into 7 states. therefore well have 57 states.:)

From listening to her interview on O'Rielly the other night, this lady isn't as "dumb" as people make her out to be.
