Robbed insinuates that something they had was taken from them. One second wasn't going to win them the game, so I don't see what they were robbed of.
You do realize I am debating with someone about it? It's not like I am just repeating it over and over for no reason. How else would like me to describe it? Should I just quit and say okay, you're right? I see.
I will repeat myself again... I now see why the economy is the way it is. A bunch of quitters. Haha.
How do you know that? One seconds give them another play. You know for a fact they don't score a touchdown? The Giants had three plays to pick up a first down and it took a freak play on like 4th and 17 or something to get it. They should have lost more yards based off the first three plays if you're going by what happened previously.
I hate both these teams, but if this was the Vols we would be screaming about being "robbed" For the next 50 years. And one more play could have changed the outcome. Is this not true? It's not like they were on the 30yrd line needing a miracle. I hate it when refs screw somebody over.
And yet, he continues........... opcorn:
I think he's an FSU fan who happens to be a closet Vol fan.
I realize they could have scored with one second. Just saying that one second means nothing as far as the score, therefore they were not technically robbed of anything, especially considering the previous 30 game seconds or so.
I disagree. I wouldn't.
You do realize, it's getting you nowhere.
We're just messing with you. :good!:
Nope. I don't cheer for two teams like some people. Not you.... but some people.
Vols in every sports. Titans in football. Astros in baseball. Pacers in basketball.
I just hate Miami.... a lot. For the same reasons I hate Michael Vick, Pacman Jones, OJ Simpson etc. After the Miami-FIU game, I have zero respect for that school. It hasn't gotten any better around there. I have a friend who attends there and he says how horrible a bunch of the athletes are.
Also, I did post earlier that Ponder grew on me? He just smiled and shrugged off dropped catches. It's like he was just happy to be playing the game and living life. I wish I could have that sort of attitude. So that's two things, I hate Miami and wanted to see Ponder get the win.
Even if that weren't the case... I still believe they had another play coming. That's 37.
Hard to blame the refs for wasting 1 second when FSU wasted nearly 30. Did FSU have a timeout to use at the end?

FSU is one of the dirtiest programs in college football.
I wouldn't either. I would be more angry with the defense not making the stops on third and 15, third and 6 multiple times. And then of course angry at the fact that you were within 2 yards and you couldn't get it in after multiple chances? So many costly errors in that game that the 1 second would seem like the smallest part.
Cheating wise? I won't argue that. Probably even arrests too. I just know what I've seen out of Miami and heard from someone who goes there.
The entire team brawling with FIU and kicking people on the ground.
Ray Lewis being connected to a murder
Sean Taylor being murdered.... Not his fault but who knows what he was involved with.
Ed Reed plays on a team that take cheap shots and plays dirty. I've seen him take cheap shots himself.
Jeremy Shockey gets in brawls and runs his mouth.
Kellen Winslow.... same as Shockey.
Clinton Portis used to beat up Willis McGehee and make him cry. Now Portis is a head case.
Miami is just nuts.
