I wish I could go to Destin. If we make our trip to Disney this October, I plan on spending 4 or 5 days at Destin West late next summer, doing as little as possible.

Whatever you do, if you are ever near Weeki Wachee, FL and want to kayak the spring fed river, DO NOT USE The Kayak Shack. We have used them twice and it was fun. They take you to the mouth of the spring and you kayak 5 miles back down river to their location. However, this last time we did not know alcohol was not allowed on the river so they said no problem, leave your cooler here and pick it up when your done. We had a great day, but when we got back to their place after the 5 mile paddle, I was looking forward to some cold Yuengling in my cooler. They gave me my cooler, but it was empty. I said wtf? The owner (Amber) said "That's what you get". Well I hope she enjoyed the 10 dollars worth of beer she stole from me, because we were return customers and will never go back. RV posted all over social media what happened. I posted a complaint on their website, but they removed it. Thank God I didn't leave them my car keys like they asked us to, in case they had to move our vehicle for additional parking.
I hate thieves.
