The unofficial DD likes everything thread

Just depends on the night for my kids. During the summer, they tend to stay up as long as the lights are on.

My kids do go to bed later in the summer and on the weekends they can stay up until 12am if we are visiting somewhere etc but during the week it's books by 9pm. Kids need sleep and mine have to be up to go to daycare/summer camp.

It would be the same if my wife had a "real" job.:) Her being out for the summer allows her and them to sleep later, which tends to make them stay up later.

Nat's reg school week bedtime is 9:00. She's usually asleep by 9:30. Chance, we need to start working on. He just hangs with my wife and me till we go to bed on most nights. I can usually get him delivered to the in-laws without waking him up.

My youngest is like me, she doesn't actually go to sleep for like an hour after bedtime. She hates bedtime. She's still in bed by 9pm at the latest. 8:30 during school time. She's also our snuggler and the early riser. Most mornings when mrs. Dd hits the shower my little one sneaks into mrs. DD's spot and snuggles next to me. She's got me wrapped.

Sounds like it. Girls have magic powers when it comes to daddy.

Same with my boys. 9pm school nights. The youngest son can fall asleep in 5 minutes. You just have to get him still. The oldest son will lay there for 30 - 45 minutes before he falls asleep.

7:30 bedtime for the little one. Right now, she falls asleep pretty quick.
