Apple is going to follow suit. The marketing power of Google and Apple will crush radio if they so desired.

I'd try to get the rights to sporting events if I were them as well. Crush satellite radio while they're at it.

O lawd! The reason radio stays relevant is local content. Local news, weather, and traffic housed conveniently in the box you're trapped in an hour a day.

Yes, but for some reason old people seem to be the same even as time changes. Plus, there is a large group of people who still roll with flip phones and have no e-mail (I meet then every time I work a remote) that will not be able to figure it out.
