The Vandy fans are talking like the UT job is

Vandy should really feel proud of themselves. They beat us during a year when we may only win 1 sec game.

Lol, it's Vanderbilt. No one cares about them except for the people who go/went there. Frankling will probably leave once a bigger school comes calling. Even if he stays, they will never compete for the SEC, it's Vanderbilt. They have gone 2-9 or 2-10 six times since 2000. That kind of stink doesn't just go away for good.

one of the worst jobs in the country. They think we will be lucky to land David Cutcliff or Al Golden. One guy that calls himself AnchorDown01 gives these 3 reasons why we won't land a top name coach:

1. UT is no longer a Top 25 program. Therefore a name coach will not come. They will have to settle for a second tier head cacah.
2. UT facilities are already the best they can be. Therefore there are no enhancements that would make UT more appealing to recruits.
3. The cupboard is bare. All the money is gone. Therefore UT will not pay the $4 million + needed to attract a name coach.

LOL!! I'm gonna laugh when Franklin bolts soon.

Vandy has lots of pent up frustration toward their Big Orange brother. So don't let some fans get you to worried. A lot of fans on here talk just as much nonsense toward other schools. They won and have earned a right to talk some trash.

Who cares about Vandy? You can get just as good an education, or better, at the University of Tennessee.

Franklins argument to get a top 20 recruiting class was "listen kids, UT will fire Dooley this year and ill go coach there when they call, so , commit to vandy and ill take you to a real football team! "

Well Vandy can have their win...time to move on ...who cares? like the UK loss last year...I don't care about these outrageous streaks against other teams like UK, except for maybe one...it is time to quit losing to Alabama...Of course you have all seen what has happened at bama since our program has been down.

One win every 20 to 30 years does not give the Commonhoars the right to talk trash it just shows their stupidity!

A large number of Vanderbilt fans think they are going to be Stanford soon. That should disqualify any argument they have. The money is here for a new coach, our facilities are excellent, and at least 10% of our fans aren't douchebags.

Oh lord I hope none of their fans actually believe this.

There is no such thing as a large number of Vanderbilt fans. Both of them might want to be Stanford but that doesn't make it a reality. They should be playing Lehigh and Brown if they want to remain somewhat competitive.

Let's see, Vandy has beaten UT twice since UT last beat Florida. If I recall, there were plenty of posters on here talking trash before the game to UF fans.

Pot meet kettle.

Those are all currently true. All we here is rumors of the money folks mouthing about the big hire. If Hart cant get them to put up the money then Vandy fans are correct.

Nice cherry picked stat that doesn't really mean anything. It took the 5 worst years in the program's history for Florida to go up on Tennessee in the all time series. Tennessee and Vandy has played over 100 games with UT winning over 70% of them.

Nice cherry picked stat? It is what it is. Were UT fans not talking a lot of smack to UF fans before the game this year?

So the stats don't mean anything when they don't benefit your point of view? OK.

By the way, Gruden has already told people that he has no interest in the Tennessee job.
