Every time I picture all these guys together, right now, at 1:30 AM, discussing God-knows-what, I just start to laugh.

There is no chance that Gruden, Haslam, and Hart are anywhere but in their beds at home. But I'm sure it's all going down right now! I'm sure they're all at a conference room in Florida finalizing all this!!

I'd say give it up, but I think it's great. So keep 'em coming! :rock:

Gruden only needs 3 hours of sleep, so I doubt he cares about the sleep part.

Gruden is famous for getting up at 3:17 AM every day. That's an hour and a half from now.

But that would mean he's definitely in bed now, if he will be up in an hour and a half.... right?

Though this isn't completely accurate. What is that there are now 3-4 Tennessee reporters given access due to pressure.

In approx 2 hrs from now UT and JG will be meeting with 2nd contract in hand to offer.

Ok so in all my years at VN I've never posted in the football forums because I'm a basketball guy. I have nothing to gain and have no ill intent by posting this information. Most likely I'll get laughed at, get the name your source questions and labeled as a troll. However I will post this anyway and head back to the bball forum.

Heard rumblings that the search is done and an announcement is going down on Friday. I KNOW this is directly against everything that has been reported or speculated and apparently we are interviewing Golden tomorrow. This information to me doesn't make sense but it is what it is. Regardless of how you take this info, we will all know if there was any truth to it by Friday. And, yes, I heard it was Gruden. Felt I might as well post what I've heard since my source has just as much chance of being right than any one else's.

You guys lose my attention when you use the 2 words "my source".

OK, MY source tells me Lady Gaga will announce she is now a fundamentalist Christian, Michael Jackson faked his death, and is hiding out in the Cayman Islands right next door to Elvis, and the world"s largest oil field have been discovered somewhere between Oliver Springs and Sunbright. We will all know if there is any truth to it by Friday.

I would say this guy is headed for a ban, but if this doesn't happen, I don't think you're going to have to worry about that, because he'll never show up here again.

I'd say that's very accurate. Honestly, I don't know why everybody is worked up. There are obviously people making stuff up, getting bad info etc. plus VR is confined to one thread for the time being so it's not adding to the clutter.

Either read it or don't and then we'll see what happens.

Maybe Gruden says no contract in respect to UT having to move on. So the other guys don't feel like they are the "5th" on the list. Remember that the claim was that CDD was the only offer UT actually made.

Volreporter is now starting to turn some of you. He is trolling hard for the enjoyment. He has already been wrong at the Gruden within 3 days of Thanksgiving info and that Gruden is still working at ESPN on all levels. If he knows anything it's very little. Now he's only pointing to what he came close to being right on. I believe it was first said one reporter all accesses but now he is changing it to more info on UT. Come on...

Let's see--all kinds of news reporting companies have tons of money to investigate the possibilty oif secret meetings with Gruden, and you fools choose to believe some unnanmed anonymous poster, who cites vague and general information (a lot of which is common sense) and you claim it to be the gospel.

And you wonder why other fan bases mock you. SMH
