It's most likely that VR is a troll fan from another team. That said, I have not seen a Hubbs article yet that doesn't have misspellings and/or grammatical errors in it. Journalism is not what it used to be.

before christmas but NY reports that Hart has his man..I won't name him here but its not Gundy (might as well call him Guny, no D) ...but its coach from the state of Oklahoma..now there are 17 universities in Oklahoma and REX and ROB Ryan both's alma mater is Southwestern Oklahoma State ..but thats not it too..leave tulsa out...easy guessing !!

It saddens me to see the VOL fans fall prey to rumor, innuendo and rampant speculation, so here is the truth:

Was that a good start ? Am I ready to just make stuff up now, or should I work a bit more on building up my cred in the intro ?

Your join date and # of posts are spot on. Here are a couple of suggestions:

1. Put our next head coach in your user name or avi. It's perfectly fine if it changes (frequently); you can make the necessary adjustment as the search process continues.

2. Make sure to regurgitate the same names as everyone else. In addition, mention that a new one is the leading candidate each day. Either cite the salary demands or loyalty of your leading candidate from the day prior as reasons to move on or vaguely reference how well an undisclosed meeting went with a new candidate. IMPORTANT: You need to have a favorite and make sure you make it seem like he is constant communication with the university with the eternal hope he will be hired.

3. You can't simply have an unnamed source. It has to sound legit. Make it a family member who is the head janitor in the AD; they can't lock those guys out right? Family member on the board if popular and perfectly within the realm of 8 degrees of separation, but honestly, there's only so many seats on the board. Your rich uncle who is a booster is also a popular one.

4. Demand everyone accept your credibility despite the lack of any track record.

I as VolReporter from day 1 expected to be here for the Orange. I covered the Orange as I am very fortunate to have insider sources. You question me? Imagine the head coach or AD or a booster or admin or staff having family or friends. Over thanksgiving the discussion continues and someone watching television is listening. That is very similar to me........

I have been extremely respectful and given my all for the Orange. I had given you the first inside source on Gruden.

Where did you here it first that UT spoke with JG? I told you

I told you a day before it happened cause I was told by my source and other people who I know are close to UT that UT was releasing access to UT. Sure enough the next day it happened.

Who told you about leaving JG and having a fall back plan? I told you

I even told you how they had the fall back plan that people are just now reporting. Many of you forgot this or never knew I told you and at the same time are criticizing me.


Who told you about the meetings last week with other coaches and again with JG? I told you

I have always been here for you and I have given the Orange everything once I found out.

I will continue to assist the Orange as much as possible and I will try my best to give you the best Insider information.......


All I can say at this moment is that JG and UT spoke again. I can also confirm you that Butch Jones was #1 on the list after. What happened? I don't know.....

I can tell you that UT have been forced by other admin to work a deal with other coaches. They don't want to wait for JG however the higher powers are doing all they can to get JG to UT.
