The last two seasons have both had 16 episodes with 8 coming before the midseason break and 8 coming after. We have no reason to believe this season will be any different. So we should still have 5 before the midseason break.

The cold would definitely make their joints freeze up. Winter would probably be the safest time of year.

Just wondering if very cold weather would slow them down like reptiles? Poikilothermic creatures' body temperature is close to the same as the environment. I imagine that Walkers would be similar... :hi:

Yeah except you'd have to deal with the cold, lack of food/resources, and humans would become the bigger threat. If I recall correctly in the comics the walkers pretty much freeze during winter and thaw when it warms back up.
