The Walking Dead

Nights like this makes watching The Talking Dead difficult because they're going to spend an hour talking about an incredibly uninteresting episode.

Now that we got that out of the way it'll be interesting from here on, IMO.

Also Beth is getting tougher. When this group reunites they're going to be solid.

Decent episode. I liked seeing another group and how they are dealing w survival. Nice twist with the end. As far as direct tv goes, I'm not worried. Amc is wanting you the customer to pay more for the same programming. So DTV is holding out like it always does and then everybody meets in the middle.

The least interesting character, surrounded by characters even less interesting makes for a terrible episode. Knowing there was no way Carol hides in the bushes last episode, and seeing Noah get away, made the twist not a twist. IMO

As Swizz Beat says...on to the next one.

What they showed the other group doing was the same things we've seen about 5 groups do now. We've seen more than enough of stuff like that.

Beth is nowhere close to being a strong enough character to carry an entire episode, and throwing her into a group of boring characters we know nothing about was just a strange choice for an episode.

Twitter was brutal on it.

At least we got to see Carol.

And I bet Carol isn't as "sick" as she appears. Her and Daryl have hatched a plan to get Carol on the inside, Daryl and Noah have come for the cavalry and they're gonna unleash hell on Grady Memorial Hospital.

If that's the plan I hope Daryl gets eaten soon. Lol

I'm going to bet she got hit by a car saving Noah. Daryl and Noah fled and she got captured, then they went back for reinforcements.

As well it should have been. The episode was bad, but at the least they could have wrapped this and her getting saved in this episode. They should have brought Carol in at the 20 minute mark and had her and Beth scheming together, and ended with Rick and company blowing the doors off the place.

You guys complaining are all crazy. This was interesting seeing a different viewpoint of the apocalypse. It was a show headlining only Beth so I'm not sure why you were expecting a lot to begin with. Could be worse, they could have a show headlining Eugene. That would be some boring crap.

I agree with this but it's not very popular. I also thought the bone saw was pretty intense

I have a problem with the lady cop. She is their leader and frankly, she does not come off as a Kathy Bates or as a bulldyke. She is actually on the soft side and very unbelievable. She is likely going to be walker food soon enough.

Agree 100 percent. Every time an episode like this comes along, the segment of the Walking Dead audience that demands walker guts in every scene goes nuts online. It's really silly.

The Bethisode = great storytelling.

Does the doctor survive? Doubtful if previous episodes have set the pattern.

I enjoyed this episode. The action was not there, but they have to set up the next few episodes as well.

Looks like Beth and Carol are on hold for now. Will shift to Glenn and that group.
The Talking Dead showed a sneak peek of Abraham beating the ever loving crap out of some guy using a soup can to make his fist harder.
Next week should be action packed.

In the slower episodes, they seem to drop hints. I may rewatch it just for that.

Did truly enjoy the bad cop getting his throat ripped out by the girl that he apparently raped. Would seriously decrease the incidence of rape if that was the consequence:)

They had to send her in as opposed to Daryl. She would be perceived as being weaker than a male counterpart.

So one thing I didn't really understand. Before they wheel Carol in at the end, Beth has some scissors and appears to be headed for the doc, presumably to take him out. Was that because he tricked her into "accidentally" killing that other doc? That reaction seems a little on the severe side for her. Or was she really going after the lady cop?
