The Walking Dead

Walker in at 5th Lol Carol is surpringly low. Honestly Michonne and Daryl both kind of bore outside of their ability to kill. Carol and Glenn probably interest me the most, just because they've changed a lot.

I kinda hate Glenn. I actually don't like many of the characters. Like Darryl and I liked Herschel and I like Tyreese just 'cause he's Cutty.

I hate Ty the most, he's furniture. Also I think we have very different definitions of cutty. At least I hope we do.

Binge watching any TV series will be better. However, sometimes the social aspect of a big time show like this is fun.

I think the last 4 have been pretty Meh, and honestly could have been done in 2 episodes. The pace has been horrible. IMO

The Beth Episode was terrible, the Abraham episode was better, the Daryl/Carol Van Jam was eh and the last episode was kinda eh.

Overall the season has been good but far from great.

Pretty certain someone dies Sunday night. The Talking Dead has a "secret" guest and it's the midseason finale. My bet is Carol because Emily Kinney was just on TTD.

Are you talking about the episode where Beth wakes up in the hospital?

What was terrible about that?

Lol Van Jam

It started really strong then slowed down. Which seems to be the pattern. I'm guessing Sunday will be great, the first 3 back will be really good, Meh for a few episodes and end strong again the last episode or 2.

You know what I think is the other problem this season is that there has been very little conflict. The Gabriel story is completely unbelievable and boring as all hell. Nobody gives a crap about this guy, at least I certainly don't so every minute they spend filming his story my brain is sleeping. The Grady clan seem like a bunch of idiots following an even bigger idiot with control and anger issues and all they're doing is surviving in a hospital with no real enemies or motives. The Washington bound group is just pathetic, couple that with what I simply think is too many characters in the group to try and follow and there it is.

If there is a death this Sunday and it's not someone we all like it might just end up being welcome in the long run.

I definitely think the group is too big, dividing them up and switching back and forth messes with the story and the flow too. Last year it worked because every group or individual, was moving toward the same goal in Terminus. Ricks group is at least building towards something. While Abraham's is just chilling in the street, I agree they are pathetic/useless. I say cut it to 8-10 people in the group and put them back together. Rick, Carl, Carol, Daryl, Glenn, Michonne, Abraham and Sasha would be my choices to live. Kill the rest (they're furniture) and move on. Maggie is ok but Glenn pre Maggie was 100 times more interesting than Glenn now. Character building and the overall story would benefit. IMO

I remember after they escaped Terminus and were outside that shack where Ty was, I thought good god that's a lot of people.

I'd be ok getting rid of Ty, Rosita, Gabriel, Abraham, Eugene, I'm not sure I'd really miss Sasha much though out of the ones I've listed she seems the most grounded. Glenn and Maggie have both changed imo and not for the better. Those two need more screen time and meaningful dialogue or send them packing.

Rosita needs to stick around just for the hot pants factor.

It's hard to write off any character though. In season 2 and 3 I was ready to throw Carol to the walkers. They took time to develop her and now I hope she makes it.

Unless of course they take the time to develop a character like Andrea. Then I want them dead.

Rosita didn't look nearly as hot on The Talking Dead, the Apocalypse version is fine though.
