It wouldn't surprise me. I'm still holding out hope though. It's such an iconic scene. Not showing who it is will take away from it. Not being able to show the group's reactions will take away from it too.

Yeah, you pretty much are narrow, because you're only counting "season finale" cliffhangers. Which is pretty silly in the discussion. You might as well say "They haven't had a season end with them looking at a prison in a while".

It's not silly. The season finale is what has the longest gap between air times.

I listened to the clip last night and I don't hear her screaming "Glenn". It's just a scream. I think people hear Glenn because they want to. But I could just be mishearing it. Regardless though, I think it's def gonna be Glenn if that clip is 100% legit. Just by the fact it does sound like Maggie screaming the loudest. Whthere she's screaming " Glenn" or not

This. I think it's probably Glenn but I've listened to it several times and I've never made out "Glenn!".

The music at the very end of the clip is the music that comes on as the episode comes on. Usually they play a few minutes then the theme song comes on. Didn't sound like the ending of the episode to me.

Let's hope this is true. A cliffhanger would ruin the whole scene IMO.

Not sure what you're getting at.

Just pointing out the similarities in the fanboys of TWD and WWE. They don't watch the show to enjoy it. They watch it as if they were part of the production/creative team at one time but were wrongly terminated, still believing they have all the right ideas on how the show should go.

I really don't understand why they would make that the beginning of the episode. That sort of kills the finale for me.

Eh, who knows. But my guess is that if it is the opening scene then the rest of the episode will be the events leading up to that...and the last line of the the season will be, "hello, I'm Negan". Cut to closing credits. No clue as to who get killed. Wait 7 months to find out.
