The Walking Dead

TWD fans remind me of fans of pro wrestling. In fact, this thread is almost exactly like the WWE thread.

90% of the posts are critiquing the writing and character development.

Just an observation.

The show makes you wonder would people really be that stupid in a zombie apocalypse? For instance once they're all safe and sound behind secure walls with food and shelter would they then all leave the safety of those walls and go out in different directions amongst the murderers, cutthroats and zombies?

given that they've managed to survive 2-3 years so far.... no. Especially with the endless supply of booze, cigarettes, and bullets they are enjoying!

Minus commercials, you will most likely have 55 mins of blah and 5 mins of actual story, action. The last 90 min episode was a snoozer. You really only get like 12 mins of actual extra showtime

That's true. Hopefully this one will be the exception and will live up to all the hype

Me as well, they did a good job with most of this half of the season. Would like to see them finish strong

Agreed. This he been a solid season and contrary to come of the comments on this thread I think they've set it up beautifully for the finale. It's looking grim for a few people.

How though? I know it would likely kill her regardless, but it doesn't have teeth yet. I don't know when we develop fingernails, but it probably doesn't have them either. I guess we could just put it in the flipping van category.

Newborn babies have fingernails
But you are right, no teeth

It's going to eat her from the inside out.

If somehow The Walking Dead goes that route, it would make them look incredibly stupid. It's bad enough that the characters are taking dumb actions from the last episode. If they have her unborn baby eat her from the inside out when it's teeth or finger nails haven't even developed yet, it would top out as the most unrealistic show on television whether it's a show about zombies or not. I hope the writers don't go full retard and disappoint us in the finale.

What exactly do you consider "a while"? The first half of the season had the Glenn crap and the midseason finale was a big cliffhanger. That's 2 this season and they just did another one with Daryl.

I'm referring to a season ending cliff hanger. Not a mid season or a single episode.

anyone else dreading Sunday evening??

Like a trip to the dentist. They are going to kill whoever they are going to kill and there isn't anything we can do about it.

Well if you're going to be that narrow, then yeah, they haven't done that many.

so, you mean like two seasons ago. There's only been one season finale (S5) since the S4 conclusion cliffhanger. and it could be argued that even S5 ended on a borderline cliffhanger. what are they supposed to do, end every season with a cliffhanger?
