I read this and believe it's the way this turns out. Supposedly the author has glimpsed scenes and pieces this together. That set is like Ft Knox so it's possible this is bull. Used spoiler bumps to spare the innocent.

The popular theory is that Abraham gets Lucille'd and actually spits out an insult (thus the taking it like a champ remark), then Darryl attacks and actually gets Negan to the ground before being pulled off. For that, they line em back up and it looks like Darryl is next , but Negan takes out Glenn...does the whole "Maggie" comic thing. Rick threatens Negan and gets taken on a RV ride and thrown out into a crowd of Walkers. That hanging Walker we saw in the finale is used by Rick to escape. He's brought back and the Saviors hold Carl still. Negan orders Rick to chop Carl's hand off or Carl gets Lucille'd. After pleading with Negan to take Carl's place, Rick is prepared to do it but Negan stops him in mid-air...he's broken him. They release everyone but Daryl and they remove the sick,in shock Maggie and drive off in the RV...in the background you can see Walkers going at the bodies of Glenn and Abraham.

Would be a fitting and awesome introduction to Negan if it happened. I have my doubts...

The only problem I have with that theory is Daryl attacking Negan. He's weak and injured by a gun shot wound to the shoulder. I mean he can barely stand. To me, it would sound kind of cheesy cause it sounds like they're just trying to find a way for Daryl to get captured. I'm not saying it isn't possible but realistically, I doubt any injured man would try to attack someone when they're beating someone's head in with a baseball bat but hey, it's television.

Abe has been one of the constants in the rumors, so I'm sure he's gone. More I think about it, the more I wish it were someone else.
For what little levity they include, his trademark phrasing is more entertaining than Eugene. Plus it would keep the difference from the comics a little greater.

Abe would be a big death but not an "iconic" death. IMO, it has to be someone from the beggining of the show to have that emotional impact from the fans. I could live with it though as long as Glenn dies whether it's getting Lucilled or shot. He's cheated death too many times.

I'm not worried about the iconic kill.
I understand the faction that wants the deep and in depth writing but it will never follow the comic in that sense. And I can't blame them.
They are trying to give enough to keep that section content but the more subdued viewers have huge numbers. Each of the main characters have an almost cult following and they just aren't going to risk those numbers for the more intense, yet smaller crowd.
The comics can be successful with far fewer fans than the major tv series the show has become.
It does take away something, I agree, but I get the business side also.
Still beats yet another reality series, so I don't complain much.

Anyway, my point about Abe was my selfishness.
He amuses me and non of the others make me laugh. So, I'd rather someone else die for that simple and selfish reason. :)

Don't think I'm gonna be able to watch it live. Hubby will. I'll watch after I know for sure what happens. First time I haven't wanted the new season to hurry up and start.

That's sort of what my problem is, but again, I'll wait to see what actually happens before I judge. My problem isn't that he's weak though. History has shown us when people get enough adrenaline and rage, they can do things physically they shouldn't be able to (i.e. mom lifting a car off a kid, etc.). So I can buy a weak, injured man could work up enough strength for one hard attack. Plus it since it sounds like it doesn't last very long, that lends more to he worked up one good punch and that was about it.

One of my favorite characters will die.
It sucks, but I gotta watch anyway.

Tomorrow night is going to be the most brutal and depressing episode of TWD to ever. I can't freaking wait but there is going to be a bunch of tears shed for some beloved characters. TV Negan is going to be more ruthless than comic Negan tomorrow night.

It's supposed to be really graphic so I'm guessing you'll be seeing eyeballs pop out and skulls being crushed to death.

If the Glenn rumors are accurate, how many losses is that for Maggie?
Her dad, Otis, her rabbit sized herd of sisters, and now Glenn.

Nothing personal but if that woman even grinned at me, I'd whack her with a detached walker arm. Girl is a walking death sentence.

I have no idea what's going to happen after what I've seen this morning..

I saw the script saying Abe and Glenn with Daryl being the cause of the second one. Spoiling Dead even said that and they have never been wrong that I've seen. But this morning I watched a video released showing Maggie and Glenn being killed. It's all over YouTube at the moment. I'm not sure if they purposefully let that out to deceive or what.

They claimed they filmed 11 deaths. I think AMC themselves leaked the one today to throw people off.

Negan may be one of my favorite villains ever, next to Clay Morrow.
