Now get on over to PP and get your boys checked out

Did not know that! Thanks! Not quite old enough to get my oil checked on a regular.

Next question. If PP is designed for those who can't afford it then why do we still have fully subsidized health care? Wouldn't fully subsidized health care (like TennCare) take care of the same services?

All you crazy right wingers think about when it comes to PP is abortion....the hell with 97% of the other stuff they do let's focus on that. Jesus you guys are so simple minded...

Couple of things here:

Abortion- The right (sorry Left) will raise holy hell if an Eskimo kills a seal to eat, or, a convict finally realizes his fate and gets executed, but, murder a child and that's OK. Ask one of our resident MD's on their thoughts on those quacks that perform abortions.

Birth Control- All for passing out free condoms (I was a teenager once).

Cancer Screens etc.- Not sure how that plays into parenthood, but, was not Obamacare the answer to that?

PP needs defunded immediately. Here is a novel idea, let the churches help with PP.

I've never found that the number of partners did much to change the structure, but some women seem naturally more hallway like.

I am striving for political correctness with that statement.

It seemed to me that the girls that were ...... let's say.... a little curvier than others..... had narrower hallways

ONLY...if the mothers life is in danger. So which is more important?? The woman or the child?? If the woman dies should the child be considered a murderer if the mom is for having the abortion?

This and the "rape/incest" scenario are constantly brought up by the pro-choicers. One problem: each accounts for less than or equal to a whopping 1% of abortions. PP isn't making bank on black market baby parts from the extremely rare case of a life-threatened mother or a bad moonshine night in Alabama.

This thread is not about abortion. It's about the politics of defunding planned parenthood.

The fundraising off of this, alone, will give the Dems complete control by 2020.

Abortion is 99% of planned parenthood. So how is this not about abortion?

How is stopping a heartbeat a right of anyone?

LOL you had em in your wallet too long. There is a shelf life and I don't think that it is 15 years....

Nope..I'dabeendeadmeat at home if caught with one. They were new and fresh and cost 50 cent in the men's toilet at the Kayo gas station where I'd fuel up for 29 cents a gallon before picking up my girl.

Nope. That is and has always been a bs argument. If abortion is evil, it is always evil. Mom dies. Sorry. Been happening that way for thousands of years. Getting pregnant is a choice that has risks.

The war on women began when the left decided to be chummy with muslims and invite them over in droves. I'm sure family members of the people shot at FLL would agree.

Getting pregnant is not always a choice. Don't forget that one little issue.

According to you, when does that heartbeat begin?

Whatever your answer, there are millions who disagree.

Millions of what?

From the Mayo Clinic. I'd say it's a fairly reputable source:

Growth is rapid this week. Just four weeks after conception, the neural tube along your baby's back is closing and your baby's heart is pumping blood.

Basic facial features will begin to appear, including passageways that will make up the inner ears and arches that will contribute to the jaw. Your baby's body begins to take on a C-shaped curvature. Small buds will soon become arms and legs.

The endowment for human development:

Only 3 weeks and 1 day after fertilization - the heart begins to beat

I never said that. I merely challenged your claim.

You edited your own post to change from 4 weeks to 3 weeks and a day. We could find a source that says 2 week and 6 days. Three weeks and 3 days. There is no agreed upon magic point at which a fetus goes from having no heartbeat to having a heartbeat of its own. It will always be a grey area the same as the viability argument.
