The ways I sees it...

I dont know a single person that wouldnt want him back if a change was made.....im pretty positive that with the petition....poll on here.....personal experience plus multiple media members saying that tenn should do it.....pretty good chance its the majority.....what evidence do u have that its less than a majority?

I too do not know 1 person that does not want him back. Even people that don't know $hit about basketball always say "they need to get Pearl back".

The majority want Vol wins, period. If we are playing in the second weekend of the tournament, the CCM bandwagon will be more crowded than the short bus heading north from Tijuana, and some will say they knew he could do it all along.

Sweet sixteen.....yes.....maybe second weekend depending on who we beat.....right now he has no major accomplishments(tournament) and recruiting has been mediocre.....Its up to martin to prove people wrong on the court and so far he has not done that. Luckily, he has us hot and still has a chance to prove he can lead us there.

I want the vols to win. As far as me getting on ccm's bandwagon isn't going to happen, I want us to find a way to win for players and fans. I still don't think this staff can coach lick. But again either way Conzo will be back. Moot point at this time.

Do what now?

Polls can reflect that because they have a total population. Example, 25k of 30k poll saying they don't like Obama can reflect the state of Tennessee because they know that Tennessee has 6.4 million people in 2011. So, saying 83% of Tennesseans don't like Obama is pretty accurate. You don't know how many Vol fans there are, so therefore a poll cannot tell you that majority wants him back.

So only the tennessee fans in tennessee want him back lol

As an aside because it gets brought up in many of the posts here, don't forget that CBP is wanted back by the VAST MAJORITY of Vol fans despite what a very vocal minority of posters on here would have you believe. Basketball is a spectator sport, and a revenue generating one at that. Hart's safest bet, IF Cuonzo fails, is to give the fans what they want. For Cuonzo it's simple, prove that TN can make any kind of tourney run under his leadership.

How can we forget when guys like you constantly post about it? And who here is trying to get everyone to believe that people don't want Pearl back?

Loud people do not reflect the majority, no matter how loud they yell. A lot signed that poll and petition. Yes. But do you really think that there's not more than 50k Vol fans that did not sign the petition, nor care what paid writers say, etc? Besides, haven't those same writers (ie Clay Travis) gotten slammed for pieces they've written? Yes, because you did not agree. You pay attention to people that talk about what you want to hear. Simple.

Since all the other polls/petitions/radio call ins/articles/etc haven't convinced you I sent out a census while you were typing. Turns out there's 29,478,331 Vol fans +\- 17 who haven't emailed me back yet. Guess what, they mostly still want Bruce back.

U r talking to the wrong person......I dont get wound up about espn....clay travis....announcers on a game or anything else like that.....what evidence do u have that the majority does not want pearl back? Even a girl that I work with said she did and she cant stand him bc he likes to party with the ladies. LOL

Where did I say that? Wow, reading comprehension problems? But ok, let's go with that. 6.4 million Tennesseans, let's say 40% are Vol fans. Meaning 2.56 million people are Vol fans. You're saying 25k of that 2.56 is the vast majority? You're nuts.

Obviously u need reading comprehension bc u cant tell when someone is joking.....even put the lol at the end to make it easier for u.

Gallup polls use a small percentage of voters to predict elections......I asked for any evidence that says the majority does not want him back and u cant provide any.

I'm not trying, because I know there's no way to prove it. Same as your side. I've already said a large vocal number does, but from my experience conducting research experiments, the loudest most adamant are in the minority.

And, again, those small percentages can work because they have the total population. X/100 = Y/total population (6.4 million for Tennessee). In the case of this poll, you don't have the total population, so you can't even come close to saying it is the majority.

the onus is on the one making the initial claim to prove their statement.

the ones against him a pretty d*mn loud.....just not alot of them.

There is evidence on the majority want pearl back and none on the other side of the argument besides the possibility that there may be 1,000,000 vol fans hiding in new guinea that dislike pearl. LOL

Who exactly is against him? I've seen maybe 3-5 people outright say they don't want him back. And those are hardly loud at all on here.

I've seen several say they'd take him back but don't think it's happening (myself included).

The number of threads started by different Bruce backers on this forum is so much greater than those against, it is not even funny. Most those against (on this board) don't feel the need to have a new Keep Bruce Away thread every day like those that want him back.

They seem to bring it up quite a bit no matter what the topic is though.
