Nope. What are they for?

I need a good joint/tendon supplement.

Also, I raged all over the place today. Probably gonna have some new muscles when I wake up tomorrow.

Is that legit? I ask because I see my wife's running peers recommend it, and they observe all kinds of wives' tales. Like there is no science to support ice baths, but many runners do them religiously.

I think it depends on how much pain a person has. It might work for some and might not for others. I have been taking it for about a year now and I do not have joint pain anymore. I recommend it.

Since we're talking supplements. What are all your thoughts on daily multis? Seems like most people now don't believe they have any positive effect. In fact, a lot of research seems to indicate they could cause health problems.

It takes a little time for glucosamine to kick in but it does work. I took it before because my knees were cracking & popping when I would squat but I wasn't having any pain & it helped a lot.

I take a multi every other day. But only because I've read a lot of people who recommend taking one and I figure it doesn't hurt - at least not every other day.

I have Crohn's and am missing a chunk of my large intestine, so I take a multi because I have too many vitamin deficiencies to try to address each one individually.

I also take iron and calcium supplements, as they are the big problems. My doctor has recommended B-12 shots, and I really need to start doing that. It would probably help my lifting. I know athletes get B12 shots.

Too many vitimans are definitely bad. Because you're body can only use so much you liver has to clean up the rest.

Ideally you know what you lack and take supplements to compensate, but that's normally not feasible for everyone. So I just take a basic multi - just not every day.

I have skin cancer so I take vitamin D since I can't really be out in the sun that much. I also take a multi vitamin everyday.

I had melanoma but I don't let it keep me inside. Honestly I think it was from going to tanning beds with my girlfriend. Had a mole on my back that started getting ugly & finally got it checked. Biopsy came back as melanoma & had to have a chunk of my back cut out & they did a smaller mole on my back beside it for good measure. If I'm gonna be outside by the pool I use sunblock or if I'm playing golf.

Glucosamine is a primary amino acid in the process of cartilage regeneration.

That for the cartilage and collagen for tendons and fascia muscles.

You are young... how did you get skin cancer?

I got diagnosed about a year and a half ago @ 23. A combination of always being outside as a kid and tanning beds.

I don't let it bother me too much, I still go outside and play golf sometimes. Just have to wear sunscreen.

I take mega men sport daily. I recommend just the regular mega men at first. It's just one pill.
