The winner of the Iowa caucus: Trump

Full panic mode. You know they are thinking: we can't count votes in a state like Iowa, how in the hell can we beat the best President this country has ever seen?

I guess it's true that the best way to avoid election issues is to have no contested elections. Trump may be on to something.

Donald Trump didn't strong arm anybody, this was the Republican Party's decision not his. It was the only logical thing to do. You honestly think that they should have let 3 candidates that had less than 0 chance of winning get out there and fundraise and take monetary donations from people ? To waste everybody's time and money to run against an Incumbent President with an 89% approval rating among his party's voters ?
The left rigs their primary in 2016 only to be too stupid to get it done without getting caught, tries to rig the final election and are too incompetent to pull it off and now fast forward to this caucus that they've managed to turn into a dumpster fire of epic proportions and you wanna cry about some strong arming personally by Trump that never even took place. The insanity of the left used to just be comical, now it's completely embarrassing.

That's a great post. Thanks for it. You need to come here in the PF and post your thoughts more often.

It's a waste of time and money to let people freely give to and support the candidate of their choice? Interesting take.
Possibly Trump may have heard some dissenting voices from within his own party. Oh the horror!!
Those dissenting voices may have led to actual intellectual debate. Yea that one cracks me up also.
What flavor is the kool aide you're drinking?
The malleability of the right used to be just sad, now it's downright pathetic.

Would you have supported Obama being primaried his second term? Of course you wouldn’t because you know it’s an exercise in futility. It’s not about dissent it’s about common ****ing sense

My preferred kool aid flavor is Orange and I prefer mine made with sugar in it. Now there might be some dissenting voices out there that would debate that unsweetened kool aide is better, but I won't waste my time arguing about it because really what's the point ? There's intellectual debate to be had, but only with those intelligent enough to do so. Carry on.

Luther is capable of good discussion. But once he digs in his heels as he has with the current discussion and brings out the condescending, there really isn't much value in continued discussion.

I rarely venture into these dark and frigidly cold waters, every once in a blue moon I'll stick my toes in and check the temperature though. You hardballers have at it though and enjoy.

Go Vols and God Bless America !

Is there another poster on here named Luther?
Nah. I've had a good convo with him. It's rare. But it does happen. The key is you have to avoid his trolling, and jabs and focus on the 5% of his post which has a modicum of value.;)

Sorry but you are incorrect sir!

It is a 94% approval now.

A whole 5% worthy of any value huh ? Thanks for the warning, but I have no desire to bob and weave and rope a dope whilst waiting on a sane thought from someone. I can't tread water like a Coast Guard rescue diver so I'll just take a hard pass.

Yeah. You're far too rational to be a regular around here. These kinds of cost-benefit decisions have no place in this forum. :p
