The WRASSLIN’ Thread

Dynamite was not a great show tonight. Lots of sloppy wrestling. Lots of sloppy promos. The Jericho/Omega/Bill/Ricky thing just fell flat. The Enzo Amore reference was the only thing that made it interesting. But the whole thing felt unplanned and unprepared.

I think that was the worst Jay Lethal match I've ever seen.

Riho is still bad. I just don't understand her push. I know she is close with Omega, but damn, I would be pissed having to job to her.

White vs. Briscoe was good. But thank God for Swerve and Mox to save the show. Swerve's shoulder was up.

Everything else was just meh.

That DDT spot with Mox sitting on the top turn buckle was sweet. I enjoyed Hangman vs Roddy as well.

But, I agree tonight wasn't AEW's best effort. Maybe there is something to the rumors about unrest in the locker room over Kevin Sullivan being let go.

Yeah, the promo fell flat and felt forced. It reminded me of Punk alluding to the backstage stuff with Jungle Boy on Smackdown Friday. You could hear a pin drop. It was a tribute to the troops special. I doubt they care much about that. It's a live show to get away from things. Not every audience is going to be similar to Chicago or Philly, and eat that stuff up.

I agree about Sullivan in AEW. I heard on the Kevin Nash podcast how that could've possibly caused a rift.

Sorry about the Cage thing. It was old story that was in my feed for some reason. Didn't look at the date.

That Rampage Main Event was insane.
No worries.

It would have been a big loss. Cage is capable of more than he has been able to show.

Watching Rampage now. Danhausen with the hat makes me laugh.

Talk about a maim event where you can't blink. Awesome match.

WTH is the angle on A.J. Styles , attacked the Bloodline and then L.A. Knight...?
A little surprised, but I think they're going the tweener route with him since he also took out the bloodline. I see him facing LA Knight at the Royal Rumble. Also, dude was jacked. I don't think AJ has ever been that big.

Just saw an update on Kenny Omega. It's something that hits close to home for me. I was diagnosed with diverticulitis a month or so ago and that's what Omega was diagnosed with from what I read. I can totally understand it. It can be debilitating for days.
My Grandmother had issues with that. I'm not sure what it would mean for an athlete.

Well, he obviously continued to wrestle. So hopefully Kenny can as well. I wonder if this would put him into part time status?
From my experience, I never knew what it was that I had but about twice a year from the time I was about 25 (53 now) I knew I had some kind of thing. Doctors always said it was bad IBS. About twice a year I could not function or get out of bed for two or three days. I played baseball for 20+ years with it and missed several games when I had the flare ups. I just didn't know why. It puts you on your ass. I don't care how big or tough you think you are.

Just watching Collision now. Three matches in and it's already blowing Dynamite away.
Andrade and Claudio started out with softest ass shoulder blocks I've ever seen lol, but boy it turned into a hell of match with a great finish.

Digging Skye Black haha. That was a good segment. Thunder Rosa is back!

Good international title match too. Bryan Keith is pretty good.
