The WRASSLIN’ Thread

I think part of the problem was the match order. The three marquee matches finished out the show. Should have been spread out.
In guessing Swerve and Lee was meant to start the show. Also I expect more from the 8 man with Sting and Jericho. More than any match something was off in that one. It was like Sting didn't want to be there.

Just getting around to watching it today. Had to go out of town last minute yesterday.

Willow and Stat was botchfest jones.

Yeah, not the best AEW PPV, but hey, they can't all be the best ever. Still really good to tie up some storylines.

Andrade laving the company probably changed the ending of his match.

The Jericho stuff really kind of put a damper on that match.

The 8-man to open the show was phenomenal. Really enjoyed Kingston and Mox, Julia & Abadon and of course MJF and Joe. I knew it was Cole haha

Interested to see where they go with this, if it’s a tease or for real with the Rock. Kind of feel bad for Cody if they go with the head of the table angle. Also feel Reigns would retain at Mania. No way they put the belt on the rock do they?

No, Rock isn't winning imo. I've thought for a while that they're gonna let Roman keep it for another year.

Lee was awesome in NXT. But he just can't seem to get that form back. Dude is 40 and has wrestled a hard style for a big guy. He may just be wearing down.

Thought I saw somewhere he was having some long covid/breathing issues too in the last year. I hate whatever it is pulling him down. Greatly enjoy the guy.

99% AEW.

I might look at the Rumble or a little bit of Mania, but that's it. Something about that product just doesn't click for me any more. Might be fine for some, but not my thing.
Pretty much this for me. I watch some NJPW and NWA occasionally. But I have given WWE so many tries in the last year or so, but yeah, just don't like WWE.

Great show. So many directions things can go over the next two months for Revolution.

Mariah May was impressive.

Fitting main event with two keys that are gonna have big years in ‘24.
Okay. That was a good show. Really good. Marq Quen is back! Deonna Purazzo is All Elite! What a boost to the women's division. Only a matter of time until she and Britt team up for the first ever AEW women's tag team titles.

Christian was fantastic again.

Poor Darby. I'm still not that big of a fan, but damn he takes some crazy bumps. I thought he was supposed to be training for Mt. Everest lol.

Glad to see Trent get a shot. I think he's one of the most underrated guys in the company, along with Brian Cage.

Garcia and Swerve was really good. So good that I even watched during the picture in picture. I rarely do that lol. The dance off was hilarious. Funny moment. They covered the table botch pretty well. I would love to see a prolonged feud between Garcia and Orange Cassidy. I think that would be a good way to elevate him. Have them swap the belt a few times. Hangman and Swerve is always good stuff too.

Really good show. Dynamite has turned it around and are starting to elevate their young talent. Seems like every year they pick a few of the young/underused talent to give a push.to. which is good. See who can run with ball and who can't.

Looking forward to the Undisputed Kingdom as heels. That should be fun.

Great to see Private Party back.

Purazzo is a big addition for the AEW women division. There are several possible matches I'd love to see her in.

I've said it before, Christian is just great heel. How much longer before Luchasaurus takes his head off?

Great spot from Takeshita and Darby on that chaos theory suplex down the ramp.

Forget the main event. Garcia vs Nana was the show down of the night.

Best Dynamite in a minute.

Up late watching Collision.....

Sting and Darby open the night. They look to be back in "victory tour" form. Good farwell for Sting in Charlotte. Flair got a good pop.

If there anything AEW does a good job at, it's booking Eddie Kingston.

Taven and Bennett are a really good tag team. They remind me of Kaz and Daniels when they were at their best on the indies.

I guess Skye is evil, but not in The House? Either way she looks good in there.

The mere mention of Jericho is still getting booed.

Heck of a main event. Any time you get a mind breaker on the apron, it's a good night.

How much of each brand does everyone watch? I pretty much only watch AEW at this point.
I know that I'm a little late on this question (felt crappy), but the last thing I watched was Worlds End,and while it wasn't great for certain understandable reasons, I'm excited for AEW. Joe being champ has me stoked yet again. Julia Hart's character is a welcome change. I'm a big fan of women's wrestling and they've taken strides recently.

I'm looking forward to the Rumble even if might be predictable this year. I look forward to the TNA signings and how they go. If you had to twist my arm though, I'd say AEW

I've missed a lot of wrasslin the last two weeks and looking forward to catching back up.

I'm glad Bryan Keith showed back up in AEW. I assume he's not signed or anything, but I really enjoy that guy for some reason I can't quite place.

Just different enough I dig it. That, and his entrance gear reminds me of that old Sunset Riders arcade game.

Pretty cool looking belts to start the new TNA. I'm especially digging the new X division belt. Hoping a good product follows the name change....
Still waiting on the world title.

But I'm hopeful they can take a bit of a step up. Maybe get a show on a more widely distributed channel.

I got a chuckle out of "we're female wrestlers 1 and 2" of AEW... It's on Tiktok...

I was up tonight and watched RAW. I enjoyed the opening promo between Punk/McIntyre, especially on McIntyres end. Dude can carry himself on the mic and in the ring. Has me hyped for the Rumble

The Nia/Rhea made Rhea look like the huge babyface... They're going to Australia for one of the shows and might as well stick with it.

Jinder Mahal vs Rollins will be filler, but that's okay I guess lol...

Cody beat Shinsuke. An average show for RAW IMHO outside of the opening promo for me.
