Everybody else has had effects from it for at least a little while, even Sting. I thinks it's a good call, sticking Garcia with FTR though. Curious to see where they go with that. Seems like their are several big time trios forming.Protects HoB a bit. Garcia is definitely in line for a major push. Wonder if the eye mist comes into play.
What was the vibe like with all the controversy going on?Royal Rumble wasn't hugely memorable. It was a bit predictable. Cool to see Jordynne Grace in it and Naomi make her return, and Jade Cargill her debut. It set up a possible match with her and Bianca Belair and WrestleMania. They went with the right person to win it.
As much as they carried on about Cody possibly being the first to win back to back in 26 years, you knew who was winning. I know these have been mostly predictable for years now, but change it up a bit to keep some suspense in it and not make it so blatant who is going to win. Oh well... I still enjoyed it as I always do,but that was a minor nitpick of mine.
There wasn't a word about him the entire night. Not too surprising, but it's obviously going to be a lot harder erasing him from history similar to what they did with Benoit. It'll be interesting to see how they go about things from here on out. What was the vibe like with all the controversy going on?
For sure. There wasn't a word about him the entire night. Not too surprising, but it's obviously going to be a lot harder erasing him from history similar to what they did with Benoit. It'll be interesting to see how they go about things from here on out.
The crowd and show was fine. For sure.
But how was the crowd? @GAVol mentioned it was deflated at one point. Did it stay that way?
Also did the in ring product look sloppy? The current scandal has caused some chaos. But, most of what I have seen has also reported relief in the locker room about Vince being gone.
I'm foregoing WWE until I see how TKO handles this situation. But I'm wondering whether things felt off or not?
I have a certain anti WWE bias. That's mostly due to Vince. But this thing could drag the whole buisness down.
That's a good sign. The recent TKO acquisition helps create some distance. The big thing I wonder is how much the talent was involved/aware of what was happening? A "meh" show would be the best outcome really. That'd mean the locker room is distracted, not sweating bullets. The crowd and show was fine.
Oh,my mistake.... I misunderstood you. IMO the matches were a little sloopy at times especially both Rumbles. Some of the women looked impressive to me especially Ivy Nile, Bianca Belair, Jordynne Grace and Jade for the time they gave her. Bayley didn't look great even though she won.For sure.

Sounds like buisness as usual. Good.Oh,my mistake.... I misunderstood you. IMO the matches were a little sloopy at times especially both Rumbles. I see why they had Punk come out at 27. When him and Cody were the final two and had what felt was a match within the Rumble match,he was really gassed. If they're going to have him face Rollins at WrestleMania, hopefully he gets in shape or else Rollins is carrying that match.
Like Ben said, the crowd was pretty into it even with the anticlimactic end to the Fatal Four with Roman winning. That match was a bit disappointing, but I liked Logan Paul and Kevin Owen's match.
It was bad during the women’s rumble… because the product in the ring was awful. For sure.

Yeah,it's not going to go down as a memorable Rumble. The last ten years, it seems like that's been the case. Outside of Nakamura and Asuka winning,Becky winning and McIntyre winning, I haven't really enjoyed it that much in that time span.Bayley and Cody won as expected
Reigns won in overbooked nefarious way as expected
Paul retained via underhanded way as expected
No need to watch when you know what will happen beforehand
Not only that, but him only showing up every once in a blue moon was pretty bad too.Yep, held everything hostage so he could run in and be 5 move Brock for another “title”.
Well, I was wrong. 6 months was way to generous.I'll likely catch Survivor Series tomorrow. 1/2 suprised about Punk. I give him 6 months before he flames out or ends up on the shelf this time. WWE wants him for Mania, I'm sure.
I guess we known why Tony wanted to go head to head with A PPV tonight.
