The WRASSLIN’ Thread

I would love to see what Malakai or Buddy could do in Japan. I think Buddy had a brief stint in NJPW. I don't recall Malakai/Tommy End ever wrestling in Japan.
They'd both do well there. I remember an interview with Black where he talked about growing up watching Japanese wrestling. But, both of their lady loves are in WWE. So I bet the end up back there. Unless Hunter gets let go behind the Vince debacle.

Whatever he did, no one saw it.
However,I did see what you did there, sir. 😉

Speaking of a couple of things. I really hope that the joint letter the talent put together for TNA really gets the higher ups to rethink their position. I think it will have a negative effect on morale, and whether talent stays or goes.
I did hear in an interview long before this happened with Moose where he stated if D'amore was gone,so was he.

Yeah, the Revolution card is shaping up to be really good. I had planned on getting tickets to that, but it was too pricey, and seating was limited.

Tony should hire Scott to run ROH.

He is kinda weird and Vince would do anything for him........just a thought..........
Me read on Cena is he cares about his brand above all things. I don't think he would engage in that sort of thing, not out of morality, but because of the damage it would do to that brand if it came out. He's like an android designed in a factory to be the perfect cog in the WWE machine. When he is done with whatever appearance he is doing, he powers down and they wheel him back into cold storage.

The Rock's promo was classic .

Love it when he is a heel his mic work is wonderful.
To me the promo didn't make sense. So if the niners win the nfc championship game next year they don't deserve to go to the Super Bowl?
This promo works better if someone loses and gets an immediate rematch, not after a year of winning, fighting back to the top, and earning your place.

Held off on everything but Dynamite, this week, since there isn't Collision tonight.

First up is NJPW and Okada vs Ospreay from Battle in The Valley. Great match from two of the best in the game.

My Sling "DVR" continues to have trouble with recording TNA Impact. They don't have it up on demand either. It's starting to get annoying.

On to Rampage...

Despite myself, I'm starting to warm to a Hardy heel run. Hopefully the injury doesn't derail it.

Spoon?!?

Loved the Toni Storm segment. Props to Mariah May. She "sold" Toni and added to her own character without saying a word.
Lot of work on the Women's division going on in this episode.

The best part of the 12 man, was the whole heel team strutting with JJ. But, the ending has me intrigued. If Billy reunites with his sons...The Acclaimed could turn heel to join Jay and Juice in Bullet Club....that needs to happen.

AEW sure packed a lot into Rampage this week.

Planning on checking out the Okada/Ospreay match.

Haven't watched Rampage yet since it was on at 11:30. Will probably do that today.

Watching Rampage now. Great match with Sammy and Jeff. GREAT match. But I have a problem with it...

So now we're kicking out of Twists of Fate/Cutters and Swan-tons through tables from the tops of 15 foot ladders?? And it's not on a ppv or a title match? On the tier 3 show? What are we doing here?

The "Master of the Twist of Fate" can't get a pinfall with one of the deadliest finishers in the game from A 15 FOOT LADDER??

Sorry. That really bugged me.

Okay the segment with Harley Cameron and Saraya was pretty good. Made me laugh. Harley's character is growing on me. I was skeptical at first, but she's a pretty natural psycho-chick lol

Interested to see if the Von Erich boys stick around.

Toni running around in bath slippers is still hilarious.

Ha! Anna Jay after she mimicked Aminata's butt wiggle points to herself and says "fat ass"
Glad to see Aminata get a win on TV. Many more in her future for sure.

It's just awkward when Statlander talks sometimes.

Actually kind of digging the Ruby and Cool Hand storyline. It seems so out of character for both of them and these roles are taking them out of their comfort zones. Good for them for taking a chance. And it's working.

Well, everybody "got their stuff in" in the 12- man. Decent. Definitely setting up some kind of conflict in the group. Highly enjoyable show though

I noticed that several wrestlers in TNA have put hourglass emojis on their twitter. There could very likely be a mass exodus and a lot of guys (and gals) won't renew their contract. This is wild right after Dolph Ziggler signed.

I'm starting to believe the higher ups in the company were wanting to maintain the status quo and D'more was wanting to take the company to the next level.

I would love to see what Moose could do outside of TNA/Impact.

How quickly things turn. Firing D'more killed their momentum dead. I think the issue was Scott wanted to get back on a more widely distributed TV network and Anthem wants to keep its wrestling block with TNA and NJPW on AXS. It's a draw for the channel I think.

Moose has come a long way in TNA compared to what he was in ROH. I'm not sure he's got the chops for WWE/AEW though. I bet he'd kill in Japan, and new blood would likely be welcome after some recent departures.

I'd like to see Eddie Edward's get a shot in a bigger promotion.
