I've been drinking good Belgian style high gravity beers. They actually turn out to be about as cost effective as the cheap crap.

They are the best. But there are soooo many different styles of belgian brews. Can't really say "belgians are my favorite." Yet, at the same time, I have liked pretty much every belgian beer I've tried, so maybe you can!

I dont drink beer to get drunk. It would take way too many. I drink beer for the taste. I am a stout and porter drinker. If I want to get drunk it is all fine bourbon or scotch for me.

I got turned onto belgian ales at a brewery in Greeneville, SC that serves exclusively Belgian beers. We sampled quite a few, and I didn't taste a single one that wasn't delicious.

My favorite was 14% alcohol, and was $21 a glass!!! WTF!

Haha. That is too much alcohol for a beer IMO. That's all I can taste

Trust me, it's smooth. You don't even know it's alcoholic until about 10 minutes later.
