Ha. That is impressive. It was quite a party school.
They are really trying to establish more of a campus life because it is mostly a commuter school. They are putting up new lofts and dorms left and right. Greek life is still in a growing state. It's moving right along. Third largest university in Georgia.
Yeah. Every time I am there, I am like "wtf?" It is constantly changing and adding new buildings. I always found it strange that everyone commuted (especially before they built the village). Also, everyone had Fridays off. I thought that BS. I never had Fridays off at UT.
This fall will actually be the start of Friday classes, at least in the dept. I work in. It is still a small school even though there are so many students. For example, they just voted on having football two years ago. That will take forever to get going and honestly I don't think it is necessary. But then again, there are so many kids with GA, Tech, Bama, and LSU gear walking around. It's pretty funny. I am one of maybe five UT fans I know that go/work here.
