I'm not making it about 1 game. Yesterday was just a replay of the Florida game, the Bama game, the Georgia game, regarding the secondary not being able to stop anyone. You wanting to make bets on the Vandy game....??? go back and look at the threads about how bad we were gonna smoke USC...

The threads about how bad we were going to smoke USC are just the other side of the same coin you represent. Overreactions based on rankings and production while ignoring talent. You're 100% making this about 1 game. Otherwise you would have posted this nonsense after the Bama game instead of today.

Is Bama better than any playoff team not named Georgia? Probably so. Did we beat them? Yes. So can we play with and/or beat anyone in the playoffs? Obvious answer, yes.

You're the one keep making it about one game. Bama was a 4 games ago. By now we see the trend that you can't accept or won't---that our defense can't hang with any quality team. I'm basing my comments and assessment on seeing them play all season----not one game. Yesterday was like so many other games that we won and you want to celebrate while forgetting that we just outlasted them. To me it absurd to be frothing about us being in the playoffs after yesterday proved we haven't earned the right to go there.

The same defense that gave up 13 points to LSU and 6 to Kentucky?

Once again, you're attempting to panic and lose your mind over one game.

And why does it matter if we "just outlasted them"? Does our win get an asterix beside of it because volfeeva thought we "just outlasted our opponent".

We jumped on LSU early and they caved. They have found their legs since then and gotten better. Not sure this defense would beat them in a rematch. Kentucky was over rated all year.

So our win over LSU isn’t impressive because we got ahead early but USC’s win is impressive because they got ahead early?

I don’t understand. Just accept that you’re being overly reactive. You’re pretending the sky is falling because of one bad game

Despite the sunshine pumping, we have no chance to make the playoffs.

The SC beat down and the Hooker injury made sure if it.

The Vandy game may be too close for comfort. They're on a 2 game win streak against the SEC.

Don't need to be in the playoffs. And other than we have a bad secondary, there appears to be some issues off the field that need addressing that we're not privy to.
Noticed during the game that whenever the cameras panned to Hooker, he was sitting on the bench by himself with a very sour look on his face. Read into it what you want but there's some underlying drama playing out, in my opinion.

Sure we may beat a TCU or Michigan, but not even sure we can beat Vandy with this lay down backfield.

I'm saying we don't deserve to be in the playoff based on multiple games where our secondary/defense proves that we haven't earned the right to be there. And I've watched LSU play since we beat them and they are not the same team so yes, I'm saying we may not beat them especially now that the entire football world knows all they have to do to beat us is throw the deep ball, throw the short ball. We haven't beaten a single team this year the way USC beat us yesterday.

I hope this game serves as a wake up call to the whole program that defense needs to be addressed bigtime. In fact we need to make it a priority. We can't expect to get where we want to go solely on the back of the offense. Heupel needs to get a top notch coach for the defense and let him do his thing. I don't know that Banks is the guy. Danny White needs to give them the money to hire a top notch defensive staff. All hands on deck to address the defense
