The Big East team? National Champions next year, doubt.
Just having fun. Wanted to see what it was like to be a negavol and freak out over every little thing that ever happens, but bleed too much orange to trash talk our own team.
dbag police! Failure to win with a team of true soph, after coming into the worst situation in UT football history, will not be tolerated!
In his 4 years at OK ST, the only other head coaching job he has had, the guy averaged an entire 7 wins a year. How's the current OK ST coach doing? Taking over a great program from Saban does not equate to being a "proven winner"
That's funny because Les Miles wasn't winning a whole lot at OK ST. Now that he is gone, they are the number 3 team in the country.
The man has won 3 times as many games as he has lost over his career. Your point would be reasonable if he had only ben at LSU for 2-3 years now. He has cycled through anything that Saban left and has continued to win in the toughest conference. Noone in their right mind could support CDD as even being a shell of Les Miles.
Okie State was 13-20 the 3 years prior to Les Miles taking over. He went 28-21 with 3 bowl games in 4 seasons. I would call that turning things around in a pretty good way. JMO
Les Miles wasn't left the roster Dooley was. Yes, he has won at LSU the last years, well after Saban left. Still though, he wasn't rebuilding a program. He came in and won from the start because he had the talent. He has continue to win as a result of that. If you win, you get recruits, if you have talent you continue to win. No one would ever claim Les Miles is an amazing coach. As far as Dooley, the verdict is still out.
He went 7-5 his last season. He left Gundy enough talent to go 4-7 in his first season, and 7-6 in his second. Now in Gundy's 7th season he is 12-1. I don't think you can claim Miles had a whole lot to do with that.
Your arguement makes ZERO sense. CDD is a losing coach over his 60+ game career. Miles has won 3X as many games as he has lost over a 150+ game career. You can't be serious comparing these 2 and talking down on Miles and hold out "hope" for Dooley.
