Building a Lean-to on back side of storage shed (10x16)... will move all yard equip and yard tools into lean-to, and convert shed to my workshop.
Will shingle the roof and then add a 4 ft wall around 2 walls, and call it done.

Good looking shed. It brings back great memories for me.
Sadly in TN most are concerned about leaving tools and equipment in an unlocked or open shed.

we got tired of disorganized spices everywhere so I put together this thing out of scrap wood from other projects. Only thing I bought was the dowel rods. Now that we have used it a while I think I will build a modified version.

My two hour grill table with folding legs for storage. (Really about 3.5 hours after spar varnishing etc)
Scrap wood - except for two pieces of black walnut I’ve been hoarding.

change the spacing between the shelves a little....

add a couple of shelves to accommodate the shorter spice bottles and the location of the dowels for the shorter ones as well. (place the dowels lower on the bottles instead of at the lids)

increase the shelf spacing for the taller bottles to make it easier to get them in and out.

could also extend it closer to the floor and maybe make it to accommodate bottles of oils and such

Built this "pickaroon" from a railroad spike, a 2" square steel tube and the white oak handle. And it works pretty good when I'm working in the firewood stack.

Built this woodshed last fall. A friend had some old roof trusses and two big beams that looked like floor trusses. With some modification, they made pretty good framing for the roof. And then this spring I added a front porch. I found it to be a good place to park the farm tractor.

I built this plow to lay off rows in the garden. I used a sub-frame from a dump truck to frame it.

"How did it work?" you may ask.

All I can say is you win some, you lose some.

I made this plow to make ridges around my potatoes. This thing works pretty good. And I did not make the disks and a lot of the other stuff in it was just laying around.

I made this guard rail to go around the spiral staircase in our house. I used White Oak wood. I set up a jig go turn the spindles using a router.

Built these doors for my shed. Each of them are maybe 10-12 feet tall and about 6 feet wide. I built them by myself. The doors are to heavy for one man to lift, so I had to figure out another way.

Built this arched bridge for my wife along the path to our garden. It lasted for several years, until the flood of Feb. 2020 washed it away.
