Things I'm happy about today

Davy Crockett said: Y'all can go to Hell, and I will go to Texas. Gotta love a Greene county man. Lost his life along with Bowie and others at the Alamo. I am happy that I don't have to fight like that.

And that is why Tennessee is called the "Volunteer State."

My daughter played volleyball in HS and carried 100 lb bag on her back because "nobody" used a locker. Told her. She was diagnosed with herniated disc at age 19. Her dad had spinal stenosis. Anyway, she had a couple of ESIs while she was a student at UT. Took a few days but she got relief. Someone on campus stole the handicap placard out of her unlocked car. Told her. I am happy that I don't have back issues. Just this dang wrist. Hope you get some relief AV.

woke up today w/o horrid headache that Ive had since back procedure. Dont now if it stemmed came from anesthesia or being off blood thinners for 7 days (or two much bball watching)

bottom line: mobility improved and hopefully will have taken last pain pill this morning
may be dancing if vols keep it up or if davidson punches sparty and then derails the special k train

The headache was my first symptom of a punctured spinal cord. Drink that Mountain Dew and eat a chocolate bar to be on the safe side. Trust me, if they did puncture your spinal cord, you do not want it to progress any further.

had chocolate
bout 3 cups coffee today, yesterday
The coffee didn't help me. I got to the point I could not do anything to soothe the pain. I tried laying in every position, standing, sitting. Lawd, it was painful! I had to have the wife drive us back to Florida. She had to pull over every half hour to let me throw up. Felt as if all the fluid in my skull leaked out and my brain was the clapper in a bell.

Good description.

@ArdentVol, if this is a spinal fluid leak, you probably don’t want to go into the weekend with it. They do a simple procedure called a blood patch - IF this is the cause of your headache. I hope it winds up soon, whatever the cause, and great news on your back improvement!
