Vacation check from the old job just came!

Middle brat was going to meet her friends, not boyfriend, at the gym. She hit something, called, and sent a picture. In the dark, I swear it looked like part of the frame hanging under her car, so I went expecting something bad. She hit this rod, it threw it under her car, and through the plastic underbody, which was hanging to the ground with this dragging also. I got it fixed up, drove it to make sure nothing was wrong, and glad it didn't do anything worse.

Mom's birthday yesterday, Dad's today. I sent them gift cards for cracker barrel, and just called to talk to him and they were pulling in to go eat. They don't go out a lot, but like that place, happy they're using them.

After getting my 7th new Exective Director in a little over 11 years, I think her and I are on the same page. She did tell me she was impressed by my kitchen (she has extensive experience) and I wasn’t on her radar at the moment. Good for me.
