The wonderful chemicals in candy now days will keep it tasting fresh for months.

3 months old .99 cent chocolate is sweet! You go Joe, screw the naysayers. You didn't work 2 jobs and practically a slave at one just so Errybody could tell you how to spend your money. Pfft.

"Use by" dates are most important. "Sell by"/"Best by" dates mean close to nothing in terms of food safety. I'd definitely still eat it.
