She's good, still here most of the time. I feel for the kid, dad is in Indiana, and mom is gone a lot, but she has us. Still moments you can tell it's hard on her not having someone constantly there, especially a dad. She has a stepdad, but it's not really like a call him dad situation, breaks my heart for her. I actually had to check her car, tires and oil, antifreeze and such before her trip. Made her take blankets with her, and food just in case she got stuck. Made her call us ever so often to check in🤣. We treat her just like ours basically, cause she's been part of us for a long time now, even get her gifts as well. Even gas money like one of mine 🤣. You can tell she's glad she has us as well. I didn't hear her tell me "bye I love you " when she left, and she walked in our room and asked if I wasn't going to say it back, cause I treat her like mine. Past couple of years has gotten better with her mom, she's not partying like she used to, so she has been there more, but still gone a lot. Didn't mean to ramble, I just miss the little punk🤣

Honestly, I would love you guys for this sort of thing, even if it turned out you were a rabid Jawja fan after all!

They both liked it during basic training, and she said the housing market wasn't too bad for what they wanted. She said they wanted close to a beach area, but liked close to the city also. They're thinking about the suburbs of Houston area. I've got family there already, so they'd have someone close in an emergency. It's not too far from Galveston, so they'd be close to the gulf.

I have family out there as well cuz. I don't think you could pay me to move back to Houston though.
