Things I'm happy about today

When I was in college, I met a fellow who shared my interest in photography and 2&1/4 negatives. He liked my vintage Argoflex and Uniflex cameras. He had a “roast beef,” a RB67, a beast of a single lens reflex camera. He invited me to his family’s home in Sevierville. I’d recently cut my hair (yes, I was a long haired hippie type in high school). His mother espied some blackheads on my neck, sat me down in a chair and removed them. Then, she gave me an empty onion bag and bade me put my soap bar in it to scrub my neck.

Did she enjoy Idaho (or wherever she was?) And what does she think about your new SIL? (S=son, not sister, in this case)

She's had a blast, they were skiing today. She, and little bit, love him so far. He gave her a brand new apple pro Mac book. Oldest had sent her the old one she had a while back, but little bit gets that one now. He's been good to hear on her trip.

We've not had but a couple of calls from the school over the years, and normally they're not great news. We just got a call from one of little bits teachers to tell us she was getting an early award for best student. It's history class, and she's spent a week on a project fussing about it🤣. I kinda think I should go to the school and make sure little bit doesn't have her at gun point or something 👀🤣
