Things I'm happy about today

I’ve used a pneumatic log splitter. One must be attentive, but it doesn’t require a great deal of strength or skill.

We had a very close call last night. We were in the direct path of a long track Tornado that started near Memphis, but luckily it wasn't on the ground when it passed through, so we only had some porch furniture blown into our yard. It dropped a few miles after us and did some pretty bad damage.
That's the one that hit Mojo's family isn't it? Brownsville, Jackson, Hohenwald, S. Nashville.......

The one that hit my mom and aunt's property (and the SIL in Brighton) went North of Nashville..

The one that impacted the Desoto County SIL and my family in McNairy County is the one that made it to Murfreesboro...

Oh Hayell No!! I'm pretty much done with sledges and wedges and such. Like Mal, I've got a 27 ton splitter. Its still a lot of work and I ain't really looking forward to it. Ain't no hurry. I'll do a little at a time, most probably.

Still, I think @malinoisvol orta come over and show me how its done!
Let's do it.

I believe so. My house is located approximately where you see the little red dot.

I think that is an entirely different one. The one that I was talking about went N. of Jackson. This looks like the one that missed Memphis south maybe? They determined that the damage to Hoptown were straight line winds in excess of 95 mph.
