I'm happy I found this spider and killed it BEFORE it got in my house. I would have sh*t myself if I'd found it in the house. It's the biggest spider I've ever seen around the house. That horizontal mortar joint is 5/8" thick so his body is about 3/4" wide. It is 5" between the 2 vertical mortar joints marked in red, so his body is about 1 1/2" long and his legs must be 3 1/2". Get a tape measure out and see how long 3 1/2" is.

Booooo! Boo this man!I had one of these garden spiders in my landscaping a few years ago. Huge spider that I sprayed with ant killer, lulz. It ran up to my gutter and flopped around for minutes. Never did verify it died up there but never saw it again.
