Lookout Mountain, the Confederama, Lookouts Baseball. There are a lot of things in the area near the Aquarium.

I've never been there, but my Mom tells me that The Epicurean is a good place to eat.

egg my EX's houses. I think its on a local tour

When i go home the first place i always stop is Glen Gene Deli. The Big River Grille isnt bad for a vast menu selection and micro brewed beer
How could i forget about Ankar's Hoagies, probably my favorite place growing up.
Lastly i dunno how vast Sticky Fingers is beyond Chattanooga, i know there arent many down here in Florida but i freaking love that place.

I strongly suggest Lookouts baseball. I grew up for a while in Chattanooga and loved it whenever the train came out when a home run was hit. They even have ice cream in a baseball cap!

The aquarium is great, but when you feel like wandering around somewhere, wander around there. and near the park and the bridge near the carousel as well. It's just a great place to do some sight seeing.

Ride the Incline if you get a chance. It really is cool. Gorgeous views at the top and Point Park is nice to walk to (civil war era stuff). Go to Nikki's and get shrimp. Lots of places near the Aquarium downtown to eat, or go across the river and check out some of the places there.

Lupi's has the best Calzones if you're into that. If you have kids, you could take 'em to the Aquarium, too.

do you mean Hair of the Dog?

Also, chattanooga billiards club downtown is a good place if you want a nice place to drink a beer or any kind of drink you may like. if you go there head upstairs and tommy should be behind the bar. he is the best bartender i have ever come across. also if you want some food there ask for susan. she is the kitchen manager and a close friend of mine. hope you enjoy your stay here.

well i just got back from being in southern california for several weeks. as soon as i got back a few days ago i found out that my sea kayak was ready to be picked up. so i spent a shat load of money on that, but am that much closer to cruisin' down the river in your direction one day in the future. it is still a dream at this point. i have always wanted to meet that goal of paddling the u.s. top to bottom. how have you been, old man?

used to go to the Chattanooga Billiards Club years and years ago... I drove by the other day and it looked like they had done some work downstairs.. nice

as somebody already pointed out, there are several places across the river (you can walk the walnut st or market st bridges) to eat/drink. There's an ice cream place and several restaurants. I think Mudpie is supposed to be pretty good?

I'm only in Chattanooga some, but here's another thread about eating/drinking in Chattanooga:
