Those are too good...

Interestingly enough, a quick look at gatorsports forum has as many threads about CPF and/or UT football as their own program. Paranoia?

Absolutely hilarious. One night at a party some drunk kid was rambling off similar things about Rick Clausen after the huge Cotton Bowl win... my favorite was that he heard that Rick Clausen taught Chris Moneymaker how to play poker.

Oh yeah, and he also invented the internet, but Al Gore stole it from him.

No. I guess the difference is that here, rival posters aren't ignored automatically out of fear of hearing some disconcerting truisms that would curb undeserved overconfidence.

You do realize that you are a gator fan on a TN website, with 230 posts in less than 3 weeks? On gatorsports, that would be 230 replies of:

"GatorVille has been ignored..."

230 posts in less than 3 weeks. That's good.

And further... I seem to see a lot of threads here that are taking honest self-appraisals of (dare we say?) proven atheletes and criticisms of proven staff. While all I see from Florida fans are expectations of dominance based a 5-loss team led by a small conference coach. I see cocky strutting based on absolutely unproven formulas.

GSMB can accept bad things, theyve been going through them for 3 yeras. They gladly accept rival posters, but like you guys, not the ones that go on rambling about idiotic things, and points with nothing to back them up. And unlike here, they are not banned. The ignore feature isnt used that often, only when some moron has something moronic to say. Theyre several rival posters on GSMB who are greeted openly, anduntil you make a fool of yourself, you are welcome. Unlike here, whne you say something negative about UT, or UF, you are not banned on GSMB.

What's wrong Swampy, still bitter? :p You know, if you have such a problem with this site, then perhaps you shouldn't hang around. I'm not saying go by any means...but it's always an option.

Well, firstly, im not "swampy" or w/e...and ive seen rival posters here get banned for things that they woulndt have gotten banned on GSMB, thats what i was implying.

I dont remember names...I remember a UF guy come over here a couple months ago, and hes yet to post again, so I take it that he got banned, but I only read this site sparingly before, so Im just getting to know some of the people/names.

Gatorville, I have been with this board from the beginning and can count on one hand the folks who have been banned. Are you not treated well on this board or something?

Edited to say I am not calling you out. I really am concerned about your unhappiness with our board.

No No No No No....I like it here just fine. I think several of you guys are a lot of fun to talk to and present a very unbaised point of view. I like it here. Im just saying that those that think GSMB bans members left and right couldnt be farther from the truth. They ban almost no one. But theres no need to worry LIO, I like it here just fine, hope you guys like having me here.

I'm only a transplat Vol fan though. :lol: It doesn't quite yet run through my blood the same as other posters here, but I love Vol football nonetheless.
