So you're saying there is a chance that the girl in your avatar shows up dressed like that at midcourt? I'm recording every game!

LG, maybe Im not reading it correctly, but are you claiming the final 4 will be composed of teams seeded 4 and up?

Other than that, I agree.

I think you're right about the lack of a 5-12 upset. However, I think there will be at least one 4-13 upset. In fact, the only 4 over 13 lock I see is Wisconsin/Wofford. Vandy may run into a Murray State buzzsaw, Maryland could EASILY lose to Houston, and it wouldn't be out of the question if Siena beat Purdue.

I wouldn't overlook Ohio. Georgetown is a team that lost at Rutgers and lost to Old Dominion. They are schizo. In addition, Ohio has the kind of elements that can be successful in the Dance. First, guard play -- they have Armon Bassett, who started 2 years at Indiana, leading them. Second, they have experience. Not only Bassett, but they have a Senior in the middle who has played a lot of basketball and he happens to be 6'10 250. He may not score a bunch, but having that size will help against Monroe. Their PF is 6'8 263 and their SF is 6'5. So they aren't going to have a size issue with Georgetown. They also go 8 deep. Their biggest issue is that they have only the 2 starting guards. Bassett plays just about every minute for them. OTOH, Georgetown is very similar in that regard. They played only 7 guys in the Big East championship game and only 3 were guards, which means that Chris Wright and Austin Freeman played 40 and 39 minutes respectively.

I'd watch-out for the Gtown/Ohio game

I think this is one of the best years ever for the 5-12 upset. You've got Texas A&M (23-9) vs. Utah St (27-7),
Temple (29-5) vs. Cornell (27-4), and Butler (28-4) vs. UTEP (26-6). I believe there will be two, Cornell and UTEP.

Ok Kennedy I get since he died in August 2009, and Graves just died, but Hussein? He's been dead over 3 years. Why not someone more recent? Corey Haim?

I'd put the chance that UK makes the final four at 45%, Vandy at 20%, Tennessee at 10%, and Florida at -.0001%.
