It's something that was marketed to schools and pro teams. Kind of like jock jams in 90s.

I personally would not be upset if UT never used it again, especially with these up tempo offenses. I felt like I heard it every thirty seconds.

That significantly reduces the cool factor.

Oh I agree with you. I was just stating facts. If people thought Lol Jon just changed the lyrics for us to use in Neyland then they are CRAZY. He was gonna score every penny from every school possible.

I don't understand what all the hype is about with this song.I find it to be REALLY annoying. They play it WAY too much. If they used it occasionally on big 3rd downs where we need a stop that would be fine. But every damn 3rd down is just ridiculous.

I'll never understand people who aren't students or athletes worrying about stuff that's not designed for them in the first place.

Worried about it? No. Irritated by it? Yes. I understand and appreciate the reasoning behind it. But that doesn't change the fact that it is annoying as hell to listen to 100+ times a game. Like I said they should use it during critical 3rd downs. Just not every damned one. Playing it so often lessens its impact. Fans (and yes students and players as well) become so used to hearing it they quit reacting to it. Hope that clears it up.

It didn't seem like fans stopped reacting. During both of our games, it actually picked up steam as the game went on. Were you there?
