This game should have been played in Knoxville and we weren’t vocal enough about the malarkey

This loss might be good IF it results in improvements. My hope is, CJH seen firsthand what it looks like to have a well oiled machine that dominates. And I hope the AD seen it too. And think we’ll know that answer pretty quick.

That’s the only way we can look at this loss. If we don’t learn and improve from it, it really was a defeat. But if we become better because of it, then CJH will succeed here. The ball is literally in his court with the start of the off season.

Exactly. This game showed where the bar is. If we go max effort on getting over that bar this wasn’t a total loss.

It would have been a far worse outcome to get steamrolled on your home field, and that could have easily happened had we hosted OSU. The disparity in talent was on full display in this game. They are fully capable of winning this thing, and they know it. They rose to the occasion, and you have to give them credit. It was a good year for us, and I fully enjoyed the ride. The years of utter futility and total embarrasement are still fresh on my mind, so I appreciate where we are now. We're not fully where I would like us to be, of course. But it damn sure beats where we were.

For those that are trying to make excuses for the beatdown, I read that Georgia holds the most players drafted in one year at 15 around 3 to 4 years ago. OSU is expected to equal or break that number in the upcoming NFL draft - maybe 16 or 17 including 9 from their defense.

The Oregon boards were pulling hard for us in this game as they did not want to face OSU again ---- let that sink in.

Coping is one of the stages of grief after anger. We all have and will do it.

With the effort that we played with on Saturday, they would’ve whipped us in Knoxville too. Had very little to do with it being at the ‘Shoe, or the cold. We had more than enough fans there to nearly negate their home field advantage. They were just the better prepared team.

Even the schemes were a huge difference

They had so many parts moving all the time, and our back 7 were lost as an Easter egg at Christmas
