Limbaugh's response to the Obama focus is pretty well done and on the mark.

In the end, Obama's trying to sell this trash socialistic stimulus program as something it isn't: stimulus.

In an exchange with Rep. Eric Cantor (R-Va.) about the proposal, the president shot back: "I won," according to aides briefed on the meeting.

"I will trump you on that."

Ahhhhh, bipartisanship!

I find it odd that Obama would bother with Rush. Doesn't he have bigger things things to worry about than what political pundits have to say about him?

Obama will learn it is better to not come off so pompous when dealing with the politicians he has to work with on a daily basis. Especially considering the current obstacles our country faces. This type of attitude will not play to well to the public if things get worse in our economy.

Obama is a narcissistic megalomaniac. He has to respond. The fact someone dares to question his greatness, is maddening to a person like him.

Read the quote, please.

He is saying that you can't just take your cues from the likes of Rush, or Hannity, and expect to have any room left to maneuver so as to compromise to get things done.

It would be the same thing for Bush to have said that Democrats can't get their political positions from Oprah or Sean Penn and then expect to be able to have a dialogue with the other side.

I would agree he is foolish for saying it because all it is going to do is rally people around Rush and deepend his support amongst conservatives. But bottom line is that Obama is right about the poison.

Right! We should only take our cues from Obama, and his loyal minions. :eek:k:

That's what Obama is saying. Maybe not directly, but that is his meaning.

There are plenty of smart and well-meaning conservatives worth listening to, but they tend not to be the ones who call him "Hussein" or knee-jerk criticize Obama just because that's how they make their living.

Rush is first and foremost an entertainer. His politics are becoming outdated by the changing demographics of our society, and so it is not all that surprising that the more he resents the changing dynamic, the more shrill he comes across.

Put it this way: Given these changes, those that buy into the Rush style of politics or thinking are dinosaurs. And they will suffer the same fate.

Government should be in control of our daily lives!

I did not say that at all. There are many Democrat-sponsored initiatives designed to get the government out of our lives, such as in the castle that is the bedroom or in terms of reproductive choice. In both of which, for some odd reason, conservatives seem to think the government ought to be telling us what to do (and what not to do) -- as long as it suits their personal moraility, that is.

Obama's ideas are anything but fresh. The Bolsheviks had them in 1917. I certainly hope America doesn't suffer the same fate.

Government is failure!

Either side is nothing but a bunch of morons!
