Latest video from Couric's interview with Sarah Palin. I am stunned at how awful Palin performed. She is astonishingly stupid in her answers. In the end, it will be McCain's pick of Palin that ultimately destroyed his chance to win. She is abhorrent. Forget all her supposed experience, just watch how she conducts herself. Most of the morons on Volnation (myself included) could do better than this. For the record, I don't hate Sarah Palin, I just can't believe he picked this woman. Watch the video.... the transcript doesn't do it justice.

Palin On Foreign Policy Video - CBSNews.com

COURIC: You've cited Alaska's proximity to Russia as part of your foreign policy experience. What did you mean by that?

PALIN: That Alaska has a very narrow maritime border between a foreign country, Russia, and on our other side, the land-- boundary that we have with-- Canada. It-- it's funny that a comment like that was-- kind of made to-- cari-- I don't know, you know? Reporters--

COURIC: Mock?

PALIN: Yeah, mocked, I guess that's the word, yeah.

COURIC: Explain to me why that enhances your foreign policy credentials.

PALIN: Well, it certainly does because our-- our next door neighbors are foreign countries. They're in the state that I am the executive of. And there in Russia--

COURIC: Have you ever been involved with any negotiations, for example, with the Russians?

PALIN: We have trade missions back and forth. We-- we do-- it's very important when you consider even national security issues with Russia as Putin rears his head and comes into the air space of the United States of America, where-- where do they go? It's Alaska. It's just right over the border. It is-- from Alaska that we send those out to make sure that an eye is being kept on this very powerful nation, Russia, because they are right there. They are right next to-- to our state.

As opposed to the man who invented the internet, the man who campaigned in all 57 states, or the man who watched FDR give a Presidential Address, on TV, in 1929???

Not sure hoe many threads I've started about her, but you're right, I'm totally obsessed. The woman is absolutely fascinating to me.

Granted those were all stupid things to say, but have you watched Sarah Palin speak. She is astonishingly unprepared for any role in Washington above congressional rep.

I could care less whether someone is charismatic. Kennedy was charismatic. Clinton was charismatic. Obama is charismatic. Those three know how to pander to the America public. The decisions they make, though, pretty poor.

considering she's not running for president you have no point. if you meant vice president, i rather have her than have Bidens dumbarse. ex. asking the guy in the wheel chair to stand up. Real cool Joe real cool. or how bout "paying more taxes is patriotic" even tho he makes 6 figures a year and gives less than a grand in charity every year. that's the kind hearted guy i'm looking for

Papa, what do you think of her performance in this interview. Is she really this stupid, or is she just terrible at giving interviews?
didn't see the interview so don't know. I know where her ideals lie and that makes me much more comfortable than anything Obama has ever set forth on almost any topic.

I'm not talking about her charisma, I'm talking about her ability to answer a simple question. She's obviously very charismatic or she wouldn't have gotten this far this fast. I'm amazed at her absolute lack of depth.

You have a man crush on Romney or America's Mayor the size of TennNC's man crush on Biden don't you?

This interview is all we have.
no it isn't. She has been a governor, and a very popular one at that, for quite some time. There is plenty of record there from which to glean what she does as an exec.

Why all your wasted air on the R VP candidate and the dearth of similar questions regarding the main guy on the other ticket, who is even less qualified.
