Could someone give me the definition of "cautiously optimistic"? Whenever someone uses that term to describe the position they are in regards to supporting the team, I think they are a fairweather fan IMO. I just don't like the sound of that phrase.

I think at this point many fans are optimistic. But I have seen a decided change in the way the team plays. But on the other hand, I don't think we're ready to compete at the same level as Bama just yet. At least not in their home.

But the direction is positive and to coin the phrase "soon."

I'm hoping in my heart we can win tomorrow. But I think we're still in the process of learning to compete at the top level. Tomorrow is just another step for our program to relevance once again
