Anyone remember that last time Peyton Manning or Eli Manning ever ran up the score on a team??? I actually remember recently when the NY Giants were playing the Oakland Raiders at home and Eli and the Giants were absolutely killing the Raiders before halftime. Eli didn't take another snap after his last TD pass in the middle of 2nd quarter.

Now, what have I seen in recent years and this game between the Patriots and the Titans??? I see a New England Team winning 38-0 with 1 minute to go in 2nd quarter and them still trying to throw down the field and score.... what's the purpose??? Just like after the year Peyton Manning set the record for most TD's passes thrown, Brady had to come out the following season and run up the score on more than 4 different occasions throughout that season. I've never been one to say that I wish someone to get hurt..... but I really and firmly would not mind for something to go terribly wrong in this game between the Titans and the Patriots.... Just maybe...maybe it would show the Patsy's coach "hmm maybe I should have taken Brady out, or taken Moss out or something." This is ridiculous.

This just shows me the level of sportsmanship between Brady and Coach B for the Pats.

Brady will throw the ball 50 times in the game. Pretty much par-the-course for them, but this is against the worst defense in the NFL... so 45 points in the 1st Half is what you get.

It's not NE's fault TN is god-awful. The Titans are making millions and millions of dollars to play football. They should be ashamed when they cash the next check.

Well its like Simms said "its Tennessee job to stop New England, not New Englands."

This should be how more teams play football. Fans enjoy scoring not pity. I wouldn't play anyone I would be afraid would get hurt, but I would still try to score. I hate it when a team just lays down and lets the other team try to make a game of it.

This is nobody's fault but the Titans. To anybody complaining, it's still only half-time. Redirect your sorrows. If you're tired of having the score run up on you, then stop them.

This is the NFL. These guys are getting paid to play. Man up.

and they just said "we'll leave this game for a more competitive one" and went to Buf/Jets

If the "undrafted rookie" continues to score against the Titans D, Cecil should be fired on the sidelines.

Ok now think about this from an Owner's perspective.... say you pay Tom Brady 11 or 12 million per year.... and your watching this game.... you're thinking "oh great Brady is setting all kinds of new records... hmm maybe we should keep him in there even after halftime to try and set some more" But then all of a sudden Kyle Vanden-Bause hits him from his blind side and tears his ACL again or something..... Do you as an owner continue to think "hey let's try to set records" NO, you've already got this game in hand.... what's the purpose of having all your starters still out on the field??? Makes no reason what's so ever. This is why the Pats organization is looked down upon by so many fans throughout the league. Disrespectful Coach and QB. I don't have to mention all the things Coach B. has done.... but when your QB won't even shake another QB's hand at the Superbowl..... come on.... classless. Brady has his head so far up his butt it's unreal. Thinks he's better and above all other NFL players in the league.

P.S. I'm not even a Titan's fan....

Go Colts!!!

think about it from a TN owner's perspective: I pay these stiffs how much? Payroll canceled!

Except you then realize you are playing the Titans and they haven't touched your qb.

Well, when you take into account the fact that the Pats offense has struggled, you understand that this is huge for them going forward. They've got their offense back in rythm and are ready to make yet another run. I think thats where they're coming from. Besides, what do you want 'em to do...take a knee? Get real, bro...this is the NFL. Stop someone! Its that simple. Hoyer is in so you can come down from soap box now. Belicheck is a arrogant jerk...I'll give you that. Brady, however, has little say in what the offense does. If you were him would tell your OC that you didn't the ball? Ummm....no. He has been a class act for most of the last 10 years. Unbelievable perspective.

Now, Hoyer is about to lead a scoring drive. I hate New England, but respect Brady. As a Titans fan, I am ashamed. Still, its not like NE is committing some crime. They're playing football.

My whole problem with this game is that NE should have take out most of their key players at halftime. Just think.... Brady is NE's key player... if he had gotten hurt in the 3rd quarter your basically pissing away any chance of your team making the playoff's. Beating the Titan's this year isn't saying much at all. And the whole argument about how they wanted to establish their offense... come on they did that by the middle of the 2nd quarter. Lol. Your offensive players and coaching staff learns nothing more than the fact that how bad Tennessee defense and team as a whole is playing this year.

I do think they should've pulled him at half time. Agreed.

At the same time, how often do you see a situation in the NFL where you even have to consider pulling your starters at the half?! Maybe 2 or 3 times a year.

This is just sad, though...TN defense has GIVEN UP!

Personally, I like a team that steps on your throat and never lets you up. I'd like to think Lane comes out with a little of this in the next few years.

I understand and even somewhat agree with you if you're coming from an owner's perspective. I'll definately concede that.
