The pass rush needs a good secondary to succeed.
The secondary needs a good pass rush to succeed.

Secondary. The pass rush and defensive line is stopping the line but could pressure the quarterback better. The thing with our defensive line is that we jump offside or late hit the quarterback more than anyone in the league.

1) If anyone has seen all of the Pat's games this year they would understand that Brady has not been his normal rythm at all, you could see that opening night against the Bills & has been the same every game. Just look at Peyton last year, it took him a while to get his rythm back & get comfortable. BB kept Brady in there & ran that 2 minute offense late in the 1st half to get him back in rythm with his WR's & to get him more confidence about that knee

2) This is the NFL, players are getting paid millions & millions of dollars to stop offenses. It's not like College where i would totally agree running up the score is wrong. But it's the pro's, their job is to stop people. It's not NE's job to stop scoring. Brady played 1 series after halftime, it's not like he played the whole 2nd half. You dont want to get the score ran up on you do something about it that simple.

3) Yea Brady in '07 & this year has been throwing alot of late TD passes, but i also remember Manning throwing alot of them & staying late in games in that season he was going for the record. Granted it was closer toward the end of the season when everyone realized the record was in reach.

The Patriots could have hung 80 on this team today...heck I'd argue they were trying NOT to score at one point.

I agree, and I was surprised by that. If they score 2 more TDs, then BB ties the record for the biggest beatdown in NFL history. I'm surprised that he took his foot off the gas.

Like has been said, cold game with Brady fresh off injury.

I'm sure even Darth Hoody recognizes it's time to protect your guys from potential injury when you're up by over 8 scores.
