This is why I hate New England Patriots

Pats just moved up on my list big time. Anyone doing this to the Titans deserves credit from me.

From an owner's view you have much much more to lose if you allow your Key players to play in this type of field conditions rathing than letting your backup players play. I mean isn't that why the NFL has a roster size that they do.... As an Owner, I'd rather see a backup go down for one of two reasons..... Lack of team need and lower salary. Lol, I don't want to have to pay someone 10 million to sit on the bench all year just because my coach decided to let them play in a game when it was already over at that point.

Yeah...but you can't really call out Brady. Belicheck, maybe...but definately not Brady. Ask anyone who has ever played a sport they are passionate about...they NEVER wanna come out.

LOL. Not sure of his salary but the Titans are probably paying close to this amount for Young just for being stupid. Nice move.

Just think if your the owner of the Colts and you have Peyton Manning beating the Oakland Raiders 40-0 before halftime.... do you really want to see the face of your organization playing after that point??? NO..... Think if your Lane Kiffin.... say your beating Memphis 40-0 at halftime.... do you want to see Hardesty who has been known to have injuries, do you want to see him continue to run the ball 10-20+ times in the 2nd half??? No.... Same goes for Eric Berry..... Save your key players for teams down the road.... in Tennessee's case.... Ole Miss, Vandy, Kentucky......

Are you watching this game? Its pathetic. Brady played one series after the half. BFD! Just think if you're the coach or a player on NE. You want to show everyone else out there that you are back. Who cares if its against the Titans. They did start the year last year at what...12-0 or something? I don't have the same school of thought as you. You're the conservative/play it safe type. Fact is, if Kraft had that big of a problem with Brady playing, he'd have phoned down and had him taken out.

Edit: I guess I should also go ahead and admit that I have Brady in my FFL and definately wanted him to keep playing. Even I didn't have him, I'd be ok with him playing out the better part of the 3rd quarter.

lmfao, like I said before I'm not a Titan's fan.... There is a difference in knowing when to keep the foot on the pedal and when to let off.... in this case they Patriots should have let off the gas, atleast with their key players when the score was 38-0 with 1 minute to go.... but rather they'd like to go 70 yards and get another TD right before the half.... Ok fine, you want to end your already successful 1st half on a good note by scoring right before the half ends, I'll give the Pats that much credit, but bring out all of your key players at the beginning of the 3rd quarter shows an organization owner who either cares less or has no control over whom their head coach decides to put in the game when the game is already in hand.

Ummm...what? Are you insinuating that Kraft has no control over NE?! You're talking about THE best franchise of the late 90's-00's. How many championships have you won? Where do you get off calling out CHAMPIONS? I said I could understand why you would want them to pull Brady after the half, but to go so far about how wrong it is is silly. Look at the score. They're obviously doing something right in NE.

Ok so your Lane Kiffin, and say Tennessee is beating Memphis 40-0 at halftime..... do you bring out all of your key players after the half??? For instance say Hardesty, Bryce Brown, Gerald Jones, Eric Berry, Rico McCoy, Wes Brown? I'd hope not.... I'd hope your smart enough to think "hey I've already got this game in hand, and I've got some tough opponents yet to play this season such as Ole Miss, Vandy, Kentucky." If we lost any one of those players it would absolutely kill our team. Hardesty and Brown.... put in someone like David Oku or Tauren Poole..... Gerald Jones.... you've got wr's such as Todd Campbell or Zach Rogers who could use the playing time to learn and gain experience in a game atmosphere...... Eric Berry.... no question there..... Rico McCoy.... same for him because of our lack of LB's as it is now due to injuries.... and lastly Wes Brown.... another easy example due to all of his injury issues.... I don't think I'm the conservative type by any means.... but I'm also not one to run up the score on anyone even my nemesis. What does it do for us as a program? Nothing.

You're talking about one series, bro. Its not like Brady and Moss are in the hooking up deep into the 4th. It shouldn't even matter. No NFL team should ever look that bad.

You can say what you want about running the score up, but fact is, TN should've atleast been TRYING to stop it. Brady played 35 minutes out of 60. You're persistance is admired, but you are way off base. Get over it. Hate the Pats all you want (I do) but atleast have the decency to admit that its because they're so dang good. No need to blame it on running up the score. I've said my peace and don't see any point in debating anymore. Games over. Its your thread, so feel free to have the last word.

Go Vols!

Lol, I mean no disrespect to you at all bro, I'm just letting my frustrations out because I've got a brother who is a diehard Pats fan and says Brady is the best qb of all time and such and such... but like I said I mean no disrespect to you whatssoever. Just speaking my mind on here, lol.

Go Vols!!!

I'm a big Titans fan, but it's not the Pats job to keep the score close. They're professionals, play like it.

Titans suck - if you can't stop the other team they have no responsibility to stop themselves. If you can't move the ball the other team has no responsibility to let you score.

Anyone remember that last time Peyton Manning or Eli Manning ever ran up the score on a team??? I actually remember recently when the NY Giants were playing the Oakland Raiders at home and Eli and the Giants were absolutely killing the Raiders before halftime. Eli didn't take another snap after his last TD pass in the middle of 2nd quarter.

Now, what have I seen in recent years and this game between the Patriots and the Titans??? I see a New England Team winning 38-0 with 1 minute to go in 2nd quarter and them still trying to throw down the field and score.... what's the purpose??? Just like after the year Peyton Manning set the record for most TD's passes thrown, Brady had to come out the following season and run up the score on more than 4 different occasions throughout that season. I've never been one to say that I wish someone to get hurt..... but I really and firmly would not mind for something to go terribly wrong in this game between the Titans and the Patriots.... Just maybe...maybe it would show the Patsy's coach "hmm maybe I should have taken Brady out, or taken Moss out or something." This is ridiculous.

This just shows me the level of sportsmanship between Brady and Coach B for the Pats.

It's the NFL, quit being a baby about it.

There are three points that need to be made.

1. Its the nfl, you need to man up and stop them. You don't cry about the score or how long the starters play.

2. I remember Manning throwing td's late in games when he was going for the season record.

3. Why all the love for Eli around here? He played at Ole Miss therefore he is of no importance.

Ok, now that you've said it, lets see your proof of Peyton Manning "running up the score"

Just last week they kept Manning in the game late against the Titans so he could reach 300 yards for however many games in a row he's done it now.

Not the other team's fault the Titans are wretched.

The Patriots could have hung 80 on this team today...heck I'd argue they were trying NOT to score at one point.

Just a little bit of a difference here.... Manning was 1 yrd shy of 300 yrds passing, and the play he got it on he actually audibled from a post to Collie to a quick 2 yrd slant instead.... then they ran it....

So you agree there was no point in throwing the ball there with the game well in hand other than for Manning to pad his stats, just as you're saying Brady shouldn't have been allowed to do today?
