What gets me is the "Pro Choice" people seem to be actually "pro abortion" rather than pushing choices in which the baby lives. Why don't they push adoption like they do abortion? Isn't that a choice? Here's a thought, how about choosing to keep your pants on. Now if that choice is taken away by force, coercion, etc, then there should be other options. Do the crime, do the time. If you don't want to raise the child, somebody else does. And the death penalty is far too lenient. If you kill somebody, you should die the same way. And screw this being on death row for 10-20 years. One year. If you can't get your conviction overturned or at least a new trial, sucks for you. Yes some innocent people will die, but the number of DNA cases that overturn guilty verdicts is minuscule by comparison.

Less than 10% of kids in foster care get adopted every year.

Im pro choice. Not because I personnaly support abortion but who am I to tell a woman who may not share my values that it is wrong if a doctor thinks its fine. To me its a moral issue and religious issue and all people dont carry the same values or beliefs. I also am pro-death penalty although I have no problems with appeals because sometimes on appeal people are proven innocent or new evidence is found. The penal and justice systems are broke period.

So it's ok if you got a degree and became a doctor to tell a woman it's fine to kill a baby? Wow....just....wow.

In that case, "who are you to say it's wrong to let out Charles Manson if the doctors say it's ok?" I could go on but I won't.

WTH? So anyone miserable, lonely, hopeless should be killed?

of course. didnt you know? if you are down on your luck, a special squad comes and takes you out. I think its the civillian police,,,, there is to be no dissent, otherwise you are chastized as being a racist to the point you want to kill yourself.

You missed the point. Someone said that if you don't want to raise a child someone else does. Looking at our foster care system, that is not the case.

It would be nice if the pro-life groups would stop picketing in front of clinics and spewing on street corners and fix the system that takes care of unwanted born children.

Rather than telling someone that can't abort, it would be more successful to make pro-life an easy option for mothers faced with that choice.

this isn't true. People would regularly adopt newborns if the process weren't so painful, risky and expensive.

Very few want to adopt someone already out there in foster homes with no real way to take back the formative years and no way of knowing the child's true background.

Just think about all the money you all will save when these unborn babies aren't getting welfare.

You just gave me two reasons that back up my statement. Not sure why you start by saying it isn't true?
