If they didn't play Austin Peay this year I would say they'd have a decent shot at 0-12; though New Mexico St. is pretty bad too.

If, and it's a huge if, we play like the 1st half of USM, we should still win 4 or 5. Still awful, but I don't see us falling down to Joker level.

UK football being UK football. It sounds like a joke. No fanbase has been more loyal based off nothing and given so little in return. Best support in a long time, so much upgrades in the program, and we STILL SUCK. I don't know what to say anymore.

Just hire Briles. He will fit right in with your scumbag basketball coach.

Nope not jealousy by the way. I just find it funny that the first time around you all passed on him bc he was a scumbag and now embrace him.

Considering Cal has never been implicated in the Camby/Rose situations...Not sure it's the most accurate to compare the two. Briles was at the forefront of everything wrong with Baylor. Whether Cal cheats or not like most other programs isn't the question. But is he to blame for Rose/Camby and the vacated wins? No, and the NCAA agreed.

That said...I wouldn't be against hiring Briles if, and it's a huge if, the AD/Staff felt they could keep him on a leash. In reality, it'll never happen. We passed on Bobby and never looked back. He would have been better than Stoops, but oh well.

UL has a great coach, and the coach before was also a great coach. UL knew how to recruit, and even more importantly, knew how to develop talent (NFL talent galore). For all the crap I could give UL for being the dumpster it is, Jurich (the AD) knows what he is doing.

I don't think it'll happen in reality. It's probably a kneejerk reaction to how bad we are right now and we'd eventually regret it. Our AD is usually smart...we'll see what happen.

I've said it many times but I'm glad we didn't. I can't see us hiring Briles either...and like said, it's probably a knee jerk from the fans (including myself), who somewhat halfheartedly said we'd take him. The more I think the more I regret ever saying it.

Nick Saban is a first class douche and he's doing well at Bama. Same goes for Petrino at Louisville. Sometimes you just have to overlook a coach's personality and just focus on his coaching skills.

Similar to hiring Kyle Petty instead of Richard Petty

Not saying you but 75% of UK fans I've met care about football for about 3-4 games, not sure I'd call that loyal. Lol I do have respect for the real fans that care all year no matter whatm
