Only thing I know is maybe Phillips didn't know the foul situation and thought he would shoot FTs. No other reason to not dunk it.

How do you not know it, though? That had to be discussed in the huddle of multiple time outs and how dire the foul situation was for Vandy. No way he didn't know.

At the end of the day, they are all on Barnes. I feel like a broken record, but this is not at all surprising. We will go out and win another stretch of games comfortably and look like world beaters again, and then hit another rut in March. Its all peaks and valleys. No consistency.

Stack going small with 4 out and 1 inside created more open looks than any game all year against us... While Barnes went Big all night.... And of course Phillips decision cost us late... Phillips cost us late in closing it out but Barnes was outcoached

Yeah. You don’t throw a break away pass to the goal in hopes of running two seconds off the clock and trap yourself under the basket. It’s a scoring play.
